This is an easy one. Everyone knows and has had McDonald’s. After decades of trying French fries in all of the usual fast-food places, they are number ONE. I’ve even tried “steak fries” in fancy steakhouses, and they still don’t beat Mickey Dee’s. You know how most car washes ask you, “What scent do you want?” And they show you a list of about 15 scents? I keep waiting for the day when one of the options is “McDonald’s Fries”. Haha! Wouldn’t that be cool?? Anyway, this particular McDonald’s used to be the best of any of their chains. The cleanest, the fastest, the freshest without sitting under heating lamps, etc. I don’t know what happened, but their service is only so-so. Here is an example from my last visit from around 7pm the other day: I ordered on their app, and then I drove there and I usually get it in the drive-thru or sometimes I park in a designated spot and enter it in the app. Now, here comes the part that I don’t understand. And it happens EVERY TIME! If you try it yourself, you’ll see that it happens to you as well. What exactly am I talking about? I’m talking about ordering on the app enough food and drink for 2 adults and one child. (I bring it home since we live so close). On my Mobile Order, I will have a quarter pounder with cheese, no pickles/no onions. I make it a meal. As everyone knows (unless you’ve been living in a cave), if you make your burger (or other items as well), making it a meal automatically adds: 1 drink, 1 fries. I order the large version because I live there Coke! But I order more on the app before I arrive, and I also add “1 large fries”. Pop quiz: How many large fries do I get with what I just talked about (large meal with Coke and large fries)? If you said “Two”, congrats!! You know more than most people who work there.
When they pack my order in the bag, they check the order slip and I don’t know what it says on their end, but on my end it looks somewhat like this: 1 Quarter Pounder with cheese MEAL ™ 1 large Coke ™ 1 large Fries 1 20 pc McNuggets ™
So that’s a typical order from me, and as I mentioned earlier, I take it home do we can eat together. But when I start pulling food out of the bag, can you tell what might be missing? If you said one large fries is missing, you’re right! Even though it says only ONE large fries, I actually ordered two. That’s because a “MEAL” comes with a drink and fries in the order. But for some reason, there is always just the one large fries. I have e-receipts if anyone from MD would like to contact me. And I’ve been “shorted” a large fries probably 6 to 8 times over the last year or so. I even ask the delivery person to my car in their parking lot, “Are there TWO large fries in there?”, and they say yes——always. I think if I asked, “The King is of Scotland is in the bag?”, I’d get a “Yes” answer as well. But there’s always just the one large fries. Not the two that I paid for.
McDonald’s: If you’re reading this q, you know what happened. The person who packs the bag is a young, first-time job kid. They read what it says, and then they do it. If their ticket says one large fries, that’s what they get. They don’t know to scan (with their eyes) the thing and see if a meal is listed, which means “grab another fries”. Is this a training issue? I have no idea, but this really should be fixed. I’m tired of dumping money in the garbage. And most people never complain about this because it’s a small issue. But have you guys seen prices lately?? It’s not cheap for fast food anymore. So I’ve really wasted my money on a large fries, let’s say 8 times. Whatever the cost is times 8, that’s how much cash I’ve thrown away. It would be very cool if someone at McD saw this and contacted me for free fries to make up for it. Thank you all for...
Read moreThree of us stopped at this location on our way to San Fransisco Friday morning. WORST SERVICE EVER! I work in guest service, so I understand when things get crazy and people mess up, but this wasn't the case. First it started with my friend asking if they had sweet tea and the gentleman replied, "I don't know, I don't think so." (He sounded like he may have been high or something) And then you hear him talking but not to us. So my friend asked again and he goes, "yeah, sure". So then we struggle through the rest of the order with the gentleman, but thought, how much else could go wrong? Yeah we ordered large drinks, one came put large, the other came out medium. The gentleman at the window, not sure it was the same guy because I don't recall seeing a headset on him, he looked dumbfounded when we told him we ordered two large drinks. He fixes it, then brings our food.... One sandwich (we ordered 3 meals, and was still missing an OJ). When we asked where the rest was he said, "one egg McMuffin, right?" I felt like we were on some kind of hidden camera show or something. So he takes our receipt back, gives us the OJ, and asks us to pull around to the front. Several minutes later he comes out with a bag. My friend goes to check the bag and he says, "everything is there." No, there were no hash browns. So she said, "don't we get hash browns?" He was like, "oh yeah". Finally got our complete order. Craziness! By the way, the OJ is warm and gross, so don't order it! WORSE EXPERIENCE at any McDonald's, even compared to the crazy ones in San...

Slow movers hit in back, one employee didnt even speak English at all, 3rd attempt he went to go get help for front counter after shift change and waiting 7 m. Out of ice cream on a new promo and kiosk wouldn't let cc usage for pnt even though stated Pay Here in blue letters. Had to start ALL OVER at register, what was the point of the kiosk?? Then inquired if they carried non sugar Iced Tea pre sweetened and she handed me a cup but NO Fresh Tea AT ALL, did the mgmt female staffer listen? We dont think so, she would of pre filled cup since there wasnt any tea at the self serve fountain area. What happened here? Yelp is next. It's gone down hill over the past 2 yrs. Tables dirty in addition. Hard to operate a 24 hr store. But why work there then? Folks, this has been CONTINUAL NOT JUST x1-2 incidents, its alwY something at this franchise orwner that now penny pitches instead of taking care of business/OPS. At least the short Indian based female older worker she listened to the order and repeated it back. She's gone now, she used to be there order taker every time. Kisoksx4 must of replaced a person that was sincere @getting the order correct the...
