Outstanding food and service. My friends had not tried this restaurant, but recommended it because they like the Hynes Group. A friend and I were in Plymouth for a day trip and I mentioned 71 Degrees. She took a look at the reviews on one site and said we're going somewhere else. We parked nearby to see that Rock, so when it was time to eat, my friend said let's check it out. The restaurant is beautiful! The furnishings look brand new. We arrived around 3PM on a Sunday in November 2023. The place was packed. Friendly hostess seats us by a window with a wonderful view of the patio and ocean. The complimentary bread with the whipped butter and olive oil in separate small bowls: hot, fresh, and fantastic. My friend usually skips the bread -- not that day. She took half of the loaf. This is one of the best restaurant breads I have ever tasted. The Berry Beet Salad was another winner. Beets and blackberries were lovely. More berries or cheese would have heightened the flavor profile. My friend and I split the salad. I was trying to decide between the Reuben sandwich and the meatloaf. Our amazing server recommended the meatloaf instead, the portions are really good. The server was totally correct. I usually don't take how many leftovers and I had to box more than half the meatloaf. The meatloaf was excellent prepared and had sautéed onions and mushroom sauce over it with a substantial amount of mashed potatoes. Green beans were also excellent. The friend had the Schrod. she asked the server if she could get less of the potatoes and more of the green beans. The server asked if she wanted double the green beans instead of the potatoes. That worked out really well. For dessert, I'm allergic to peanut butter so we couldn't get the first item. I believe my friend and I said we didn't like bread pudding that much. And we spoke to the server and asked her what customers liked and she recommended the bread pudding. So we got that and the bread pudding at 71° is unlike any bread pudding we've ever had. First of all the portion was huge and more than enough for two people. The second thing I noticed was the texture of the bread pudding was very light in texture which I liked, more like a fluffy chiffon cake. I really appreciated all the whipped cream, the strawberries, the cinnamon ice cream, and the caramel. I would be happy to order it again. Frankie was our server. If there were awards for service, Frankie would get them. She was attentive, checked up on us frequently, refilled our drinks, took our pictures at our request, had a great attitude, and gave great food recommendations. The ambience was impressive. I found a noise levels were moderate, but nothing too loud, unlike what I've seen in other reviews. Women's bathroom is beautiful with blue bricks on the inside and gorgeous, shiny new fixtures. Even the stall doors were well-made with strong latches. The restaurant is on a second floor, and there is an elevator that people can take or the stairs. There is no sign on the outside of the restaurant, but it seems like the town knows where this place is.

If anybody remembers the old Isaac’s in Plymouth Harbor, you will have no trouble finding this place. Beautifully decorated and updated throughout the entire restaurant. We had an early dinner 5 o’clock, keep in mind. They do not except reservations for parties under four. This place was busy in the restaurant, but the bar area was packed.. no matter where you sit in the restaurant you have beautiful views of Plymouth Harbor and the Mayflower. The food to me was just mediocre. Nothing special about it, the flavor was there, it was well presented, but it just didn’t have that. Wow factor!! Now the service was just OK not exceptional or extraordinary but just a boring OK. make sure that you get there early. Otherwise the place will be mobbed, especially with summer coming. There is parking in the back along with parking in the front. Also keep in mind they are doing construction in that area so they will be a ton of traffic. Overall It’s a nice restaurant for drinks and some apps and taking in the beautiful views but if you looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion, I just don’t think this is the one, I would look someplace else. It is a fairly new restaurant, so they still have some kinks to work out, but worth a visit.

71° West Atlantic Steakhouse is the old Isaac's on Plymouth harbor. New ownership took this old location and put a new school spin on it. Every seat has an ocean front view, literally every seat. It's amazing. The decor is gorgeous. The wait staff is amazing, super friendly, and knows the menu inside and out. The food is where it gets good. Everything from the pre dinner bread to dessert... you can tell they're all prepared with the finest ingredients and made to please. I ordered the filet, and it was cooked perfectly - nice char on the outside and pink in the middle. My wife had the lobster carbonnara, and she was beyond pleased - the handmade noodles were great, and the lobster was cooked perfectly and plentiful. The new ownership has done a phenomenal job, and we'll be coming back for sure. Highly recommend. I only wish I had taken more photos to corroborate my point of view. There's plenty of parking out back - you pay $20 but get validation after your meal, and they give you the $20 back, so parking is free! I hope you enjoy this place as much as we did!

As I start writing this review I still haven’t decided how many stars to give the service. I spent most of my adult life in the restaurant business so I have very definite ideas about how things should go. Four of us were going to a concert at Plymouth Memorial Hall… terrible acoustics and rows extremely close. Back killing me when we left. My friend who lives in Plymouth chose this place because she had never been. After checking the reviews I was leery. But most of the recent ones were better. My friends who had Lobster Bisque loved them BUT the bisque had dripped over the sides of a very nice bowl. That should have been cleaned before they left the kitchen. I ordered sticky ribs and the first serious faux pas. The food runner passed me the plate across the table. That plate absolutely should have been placed in front of me. The dish was very good. Excellent flavor and yes they were sticky. Faux pas number two (this term will recur) when the appetizer was cleared the server didn’t bring me a new fork and knife. Considering I was having a steak I should have had a new steak knife at least. I ordered the 6oz. Filet. My favorite steak in my favorite size. Yay. I got the Smoked Bacon Chive Butter. Extremely serious faux pas…the food runner auctioned the meals. To those not in foodservice it means he had to ask who got what. A fine dining restaurant would have a system so that whomever brought the meals would know where they go. Shame on management for lack of training and systems. When I got my meat it seemed to have no bacon chive butter. Then the server came out with the butter on a spoon with a flamethrower and melted the butter over the steak. Very impressive I have to say. The steak was tender and a perfect medium rare. The butter was to die for. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. No one had desert. I believe that when the bill is brought to the table EVERYTHING that is not in current use should be gone. The only things that should be left are glasses that are being used and desert paraphernalia. The table was 85% cleared. I blame the less than stellar performance on the ownership and management. Shame on them for not going that final few steps that would have made this a five star experience. It was a beautiful place with great views of the harbor, but as many other reviewers noted it was very loud. Unfortunately this is typical in many restaurants these days. Makes them easier to keep clean…no carpet which would absorb sound. Progress I guess. I would definitely go there again. I apologize for not remembering my...

If I could have rated a 0, I would have. I made reservations for 6:30pm on a Tuesday night for 5 adults. I told them it was a birthday dinner for my 89 year old mother and asked for one of the cushioned semi round tables with a view of the harbor. I was assured they could accommodate. We arrived on time and the hostess said they were setting up our table and it would be just a few minutes. After some time of waiting, we asked what was happening and were told the guests seated at our table were lingering but they paid their bill and they'd get us seated very quickly. For about an hour we were told a myriad of excuses as to why our table wasnt ready. We asked to speak to the manager and when she finally came over to us, she was rude and dismissive. We asked if we could sit in the private dining room vs. continue to wait and have my mom sit on the hard, wooden ledge of the waterfall while we had to wait. They refused even though we offered to pay the cost of the room rental. Finally, we were seated, not at the table I was promised but something that looked more like a folding card table. Five adults at a table that would be comfortable for no more than 3). It was like sitting at the kids table at a family holiday dinner. We ordered 2 apps, which did not fit on the table, one was teetering on the edge. We had to get up and walk around our table in order to fill our app. plates. Passing the platter was not an option. The food, at least, for my dining companions, was ok. I ordered the Thai Chicken Salad, which was tasteless and certainly not worth the price. This was my 3rd time there. The other 2 times were good experiences. But this last time left me feeling so infuriated. Being treated so badly and then humiliating us by being seated at a table that was ridiculously too small is unforgivable. I won't ever return and will be vocal and brutally honest to anyone who will listen about my disdain for...
