Not good. My husband and I love to go to the arcade while on vacation in Newport. They are wonderful there. Staff is always helpful. We were excited for the arcade to be so close to home for more frequent visits with our son. We took into consideration they were renovating during the 3 visits we have made thus far. Let's just say the staff is miserable. We have encountered 3 to 4 staff members during our visits, all unhelpful and act as if we are bothering them. We over looked it at first because they are younger and we were the only people there each time we have visited. We figured they must just be used to doing nothing at work while under construction. Although not okay with me, we were cutting them some slack and figured attitudes would change once renovations were done. However our last visit will probably be our last to the Plymouth location. There is a game that involves ping pong balls and sometimes they end up elsewhere in the game room. My husband and I noticed at least 4 under the machine itself. When we told the 2 staff members on duty, the staff said there were plenty of balls in the machine. We explained the balls do not cycle through and the balls all drop at once and when they are gone your turn is done so it makes the bonus less achievable. They said thanks and that they would get them later and again not to worry as plenty of balls were in the machine. We were the only people there, they couldn't grab a broom and sweep them out. Heck I would have done it if they supplied the broom. They made us feel uncomfortable to even ask, and cringe a worthy response to the explanation. Not okay with me at all. We just left altogether. In Newport all staff are great, helpful, and friendly. Not here! They need a staff overhaul after the renovations to make us want to come back. Very...
Read moreI was expecting golf , a big arcade , and much more .. the arcade is very very small . The staff is absolutely horrible !! I was shocked how rude they were . I asked my wife if she spoke with any of the staff and she said they were very rude so we will never return . What a shame we had a decent time till we encountered the terrible staff . It's interesting how you have a ok time and it is just destroyed by two people . The two women that were working the desk were horrible. Very bad attitude God a vibe like she did not like her job at all maybe even hated it . The other one I got a feeling that she absolutely hates men . When we were leaving we turned in our cards so the kids could get their prizes this is why I think she does not like men.. she absolutely refused to talk to me she would only address my I would talk she completely ignored me and she would talk to my wife I would ask a question she would answer my question to my wife.. I looked at my wife and said we will never come back here I can't wait to leave a review . This is my review . I would fire the staff and hire people that would enjoy that kind of work. When you work with the public you need to be civil and professional. It's right across the street from a nice Beach the view is beautiful the rest of our day was great this was the worst part of our day entering Ryan's family amusement . We spent $80 for 2 hours of arcades . I can't stress this enough I would never go back there if this is how they treat people I can't imagine they will be open much longer at this location with...
Read moreThis was actually a fun place, but my 3 star review is low because I thought it was filthy, short staffed and unorganized! It looked like the floor hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks! The girls bathroom was very dirty. There was only 1 person working at the time we were there, which probably reflected its appearance. I know we live in a digital world now, but I have to say, it has its pros and cons. My grandkids were swiping away with their digital activated card. At times it didn’t work and it was hard to follow if we got charged for a turn they never got. Upon the empty card, time to reap the rewards of their winnings moment, was not so enjoyable to us! This place is rather small and the redeeming system needs revamping! First, there’s no ’Redeem Here’ line, so it’s hard to know who’s next. We all know how children can be, when trying to decide what they want. Well add in trying to find an item they may or may not have enough points to buy in there and you’ve got yourself feeling bad for the next customer waiting for their turn! Wouldn’t it make sense to have the prizes sorted by ticket value? One section could be 0-25, another section 26-100, another 101-500, another 501-1000, another 1001 and up. That would make it so much easier for kids to focus on. And what’s with all the gun choices???? Seriously???? I don’t believe in children having guns other than water guns, maybe, if it’s a must. Please revamp your prize selection and help keep peace in this crazy world we live in. And hire someone to clean this location. Thank...
