I've heard many good things about this place and finally tried it out tonight with my wife and a couple of our good friends. Parking gets hectic in that area at peak times as the restaurant is surrounded by recreational boat parking on one side with an active pier. Best bet is to park in front of the lobster hut in the public parking area that costs a dollar or two an hour and is free after 7pm. We were seated immediately for our 6:15 reservation on Friday night. I got the filet mignon with gorgonzola, garlic roasted asparagus, red bliss mashed potatoes, and sitting in a red wine demi glace for $33. The meal was good and filet cooked perfectly, but flavor was off a little on the steak and with the portion size of the meal overall, you can get more bang for your buck at just about any other great restaurant in the area. I couldn't put my finger on it but after all the filets I've eaten, for some reason this one was off. Maybe my taste buds were off tonight, idk. Mashed potatoes were good, but were already cold after being at the table a couple minutes. Asparagus portion was small and stalks were thin, but they were cooked perfectly and tasted good. Espresso martini was actually very tasty, and on par with the Black Raspberry in Plymouth (my favorite). Not a seafood fan but there is a ton of options for those that are! Waitress was very friendly and attentive, and service was great, quick but not rushed. I rated this place a little higher than I normally would because the restaurant was clean, busy, and our service was great. The food was good, not great, and not bad by any means, just ok. I have to give any business that can operate at the capacity they were at tonight, and keep service great, another shot in the future for sure. Owner seems very attentive and trying his hardest to address comments on here, very professionally too. In these times, and as a business manager myself, I completely understand how quality and service can vary between employees and shifts, and sometimes no matter how hard we work to make things perfect, there's always forces working against us lol

First time here this beautiful Friday in September for a late lunch to try and extend summer a little. Many positives and just one negative, but let’s focus on the positives. First, a great location on the water front and it’s a very big venue that can seat a lot of patrons. We made a 1:45 pm reservation for an outdoor table and were running late, so we called to let them know. Nick (I think that’s who was running it) said not a problem and he held our reservation. He was super nice and great at his job! We can’t wait to see him again! Second, great service outside with Jasmin as our server. She’s super nice and very attentive. A great team member! Please, keep her on. She’s fabulous. She makes you feel welcome and special there even when she’s juggling multiple tables. Third, tasty food! My wife had a dozen oysters thanks to “happy hour” which runs on weekdays from 2-5. It’s a buck-a-shuck and she was pleased. I had the fish tacos. Jasmin recommended the fried cod over grilled and she was right. We also had some chicken wings that were very good. Again, good bar food. Fourth, great drink menu and choices. My wife had a watermelon martini and I had some Pinot Grigio. Well priced for the location. We’d definitely return for sure. A short rain storm came through and we all had to run inside for a bit. At that point it was pouring and we decided to wait out the storm at the bar. Here’s our one critique: bar servers - not exactly welcoming. Think Jon Taffer and Bar Rescue - this is the hospitality industry and you want to make your customers feel like they’re welcome there. That means smile, make eye contact and make them feel that they aren’t an imposition on your time. Seriously, when you give me my bar tab and you’re asking me to pay, you should make some eye contact with me. This was just a small downer on an otherwise great experience and maybe ownership will use this as a chance to train and teach. Other than that we’ll be back again!

It's a hip place on the water, I guess. I came to the patio bar first bc I like being outside and asked if I could order a meal out there and she said yes but she couldn't serve drinks because she didnt have any out there yet. So I decided to go in and wait for a table. Both hostesses were aloof and unfriendly, so I just asked if I could get a seat at the bar, and they said yes, so I went and found one (there were several open). Waited almost 10 minutes to even get a menu and ask for a drink order, and in that time, I saw two other parties leave from the bar out of frustration without being served. So when I finally did get a menu, I decided not to get any drinks and just o my order to go. It took another 20 minutes for a grilled chicken sandwich and side salad. The guy next to me noticed how many people weren't being served, and he told me he decided he wasn't going to order a meal like several others. I did get my takeout sandwich finally, and while it was packaged nicely, there were no utensils in it, and I had to ask for them. As for the food, the salad had tons of wilted greens in it, but the greens that were fresh were pretty tasty. The sandwich was cold, which is weird because I went to eat it only about 4 minutes after she brought it to me (and that's including the couple minutes waiting for the silverware. Also, it was supposed to have a Chipotle ranch on it, and there was ZERO trace of Chipotle, let alone any other trace of a condiment. I would try them again because I never judge on just one visit, and if so, I will amend or post a new review, however, for the time being, I wasnt too impressed with the food or service. One positive note, though, I specifically chose this place after looking at several menus in the area. The prices were a few $ cheaper for some of the same items at other places, so I will give them that.

We ate here at lunch today while visiting the town for the first time.

Pros: the atmosphere, which was clean and boasted lovely views; the short wait to be seated; and the food, which was well prepared and delicious (we were a table of four and ordered drinks, plus two cold lobster rolls, one hot lobster roll, and one cheese pizza).

Cons: the service from our server, who was aloof and condescending when we asked questions. Additionally, the service in general soiled the dining experience for us.

This was a unique scenario but it highlights the concerns we had. At the table across from ours, a man started to have a seizure. One of the two women with him screamed for help, and a member of our party leapt to action and assisted while a member of their party called for an ambulance. His seizure lasted around two minutes and not a single person who worked at the restaurant came to check in or appeared in the periphery, even though there was a POS station about 2 feet from their table. After the man came to, a manager nonchalantly approached their table to check in, but nonverbally acted as if they were put out by this unprecedented situation. Long story medium, the next 15 minutes unfolded with an ambulance and EMT arriving, this poor man having another seizure, another manager coming over to check on everyone and saying that their meal would be comped, someone else apparently dropping a check at their table as if they didn’t have other terrors to worry about, and our party having to remove the check from their table to make sure it didn’t distract them during their emergency and ensure that it was comped for them.

The lack of empathy, active listening, coordination and communication displayed by almost everyone we met at this restaurant - with the exception of the chef who did his rounds after the emergency and was proactively vs reactively courteous - was staggering.

We recognize that the team members of this restaurant aren’t medical professionals so to be clear, I’m not indicating that they should have tried to help this man in a medical way. But they are in hospitality, and they collectively missed the mark of their industry here, and it was sad to witness. I know hospitality is tough so I hope their sparks reignite in a field or environment that better suits them...

Worst dining experience I have ever had — hands down. If there was an option for zero stars, this place would get it. The server should not have a job, period.

We went here on a Sunday, when it wasn’t even busy, for my daughter’s birthday with family visiting from out of town who just wanted a quick bite before hitting the road. We ordered everything together — drinks, appetizers, and meals — to make it simple. An hour later, HALF of one appetizer shows up. The server casually tells us “the ticket got lost.” Then he admits he lost our entire food order and had to retake it.

In the meantime, our drinks were completely wrong. We literally had to walk up to the bar ourselves to reorder because he couldn’t get it together. My six-year-old daughter was starving, and they finally brought her spaghetti — along with the second half of our apps. The nachos? A pile of plain chips with shredded cheese tossed on top.

After waiting almost two hours (again — on a slow Sunday), the food finally came out. Some was edible, but one dish — chicken — was completely raw in the middle, bright pink. We immediately called the manager over, explained everything in detail, and his response was, “I’ll see what I can do.” Then he disappeared. Never came back. The bartender went and grilled the chicken herself and brought it out.

We had to get our own silverware. We had to order drinks from the bar. The only saving grace was the bartender in the back who actually cared enough to check in after we told her how terrible our server was.

Then comes the final insult: the bill. NOTHING was taken off — not even the raw chicken. When we confronted the manager again, he said “one second, let me see what I can do,” and comped TWO items. That’s it. After nearly two hours, incompetent service, raw food, and a ruined birthday dinner.

Here’s the thing — we’ve been to this restaurant multiple times before and NEVER had an experience this bad. But after the way this was handled (or rather, not handled), we will never be back, and we will never recommend it to anyone. Both the server and the manager should be fired. Absolutely unacceptable from...
