WHAT TO DO IN PLYMOUTH, MA: 1. Stay at Hotel 1620: within walking distance to attractions, restaurants, and shops. They have an indoor pool and free bicycles to rent! 2. Breakfast at Carmen’s Cafe Nicole: great service and delicious food! We both got a version of their eggs Benedict over croissants— highly recommend! 3. Sandy’s Beach: fresh lobster rolls and drinks at the beach bar. 💵CASH ONLY and you can park for free if you only eat at the restaurant but it’s $20 to stay at the beach. 4. Cabby Shack: this waterview restaurant makes you feel like you’re on vacation and has amazing food and service! The award-winning clam chowder was featured on Food Network and it is so good! 5. Plymouth Rock: completely free and open to the public (no tickets required) 6. Mayflower II: in 2024 it cost us $19 per adult and while it was a quick walk around tour, it was very cool to see what the Mayflower looked like in person on this newly renovated replica. 7. Pilgrim Belle: beautiful sunset cruise with cash bar and restrooms onboard. This was a great way to meet people and see the neighboring beaches around Plymouth. Part of Captain John Boats. 8. Terrace Rooftop Dining: huge restaurant with rooftop views and top rated cuisine! 9. B’s Homemade Ice Cream: plenty of yummy flavors available and friendly service! EXTRA: very clean city and felt very safe. Even the free public restrooms at the Harbormaster were immaculate. There is so much to do here and we are going back and adding an extra day next time. #plymouthrock #plymouthma #plymouthwaterfront #southshorema #visitma #massachusetts #explorehistory #bucketlist #bucketlisttravel #daytrips #newengland

I’m a 74 year old life time resident of Plymouth and I want to say how disrespectful, disruptive, rude, crude and loud the motorcycle riders are going up and down main st with loud pipes and then giving it the gas to make it louder “So everyone will look at them”. We were eating outside Sam Diegos with our grandchildren and during the meal this was happening every 15-20 min. Never will we try to eat outside in downtown Plymouth again. The saddest part is there are laws about loud noise and disturbing the peace but we’re are the teeth and the officers to...

Mike was very informative and enthusiastic about Plymouth ensuring we understood the history & importance of each of the monuments in Plymouth. We originally were only going to stop at the Mayflower II and see the Plymouth Rock, however seeing Mike and learning more about the historical stops in Plymouth allowed us to have a great time in this community! He also had great knowledge of potential eatery’s nearby. Mike is truly a treasure to the Plymouth community and would most definitely recommend anyone visiting to stop & learn...

There were two wonderful and knowledgeable ladies working here when we stopped in for a quick visit. Well, after talking with them about all the things to do and some great local advice, we ended up spending the whole day here and ate some fresh catch dinner at Woods before leaving. It was probably the best place we stopped at during our New England vacation. Thankfully, we stopped in the visitor center. Otherwise, we would have missed out on so...
