I usually am an early riser and go here for my breakfast. I arrive around 4-4:30 and there’s never anyone in line. I usually have an okay experience but I’ve had multiple problems with this one woman’s attitude. The other day I pulled up and first thing she said “I’ll be right with you and it’s cash only” and I said okay no problem. McDonald’s has a system where they have to reboot every morning and it shuts all card transactions down (seems kinda strange) so I already expected this. I didn’t know that you can’t use a DT code when the system is down so therefore I said “I’d like to use my drive thru code” and she said in a cold tone “the systems down I can’t do that” so therefore I said “oh okay no problem I’ll do a-“ and before I could finish my sentence she interrupted me and said “I SAID THE SYSTEMS DOWN RIGHT NOW I CANT TAKE YOIR CODE” when I was literally only ordering a breakfast sandwich and was NOT going to use the code. Read moreI gotta say, this McDonalds has been put in a great place in the middle of the highway while driving on down to the Cape. Even though we stopped here, coming back from the Cape, this food really made up for a great Wednesday lunch. I ate a double quarter pounder with cheese today, and surprisingly the buns were smaller than the burgers which made it kinda tough to eat. Regardless it tasted great; usually people say the fries are the best, but I have to say the burger tasted the best today. And the medium fries still tasted pretty good as well as the mango pineapple smoothie. Their kitchen incorporated conveyors to rush the food to the drive-up window or to the counters. The restaurant is clean, the bathrooms are shared with the Visitor Center. There are unbrella covered tables outside as well as picnic tables scattered around under the pines. McDonalds is located where the Boston to Hyannis busses stop heading south and the Hyannis to Boston/Logan busses stop heading north.
