I don't understand what the hub about this pub is, I suppose if your goal is to be plastered then you won't notice how basic and terrible the food is. First of the nachos who cares trust me college kids can make something better with a few things from the grocery down the street and their hot plate in their dorm room for Pete sake lackluster ingredients, uncontrolled portions, and overcooked, then don't even get me started on the kid menu like I know thier kids but jeez they have taste buds too, the fettuccine was severely undercooked, the sauce lacked basic flavor and was of a paste like consistency and riddled with chucks of garlic, not to mention the obvious star of the dish the oversized broiled mushy greasy flavorless ball of meat. The steak bomb should be impossible to mess up, but yet they figured out a way, hardly any veggies, light on the steak, they toast your sandwich don't even ask, legit the only thing decent is the French fries super crispy good flavor. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money, but like I said if your goal is to drink you won't notice or care...
Read moreAs a solid spot for standard pub food options, Panther Pub & Grille will not disappoint you. Of the limited options in the Plymouth area, I am glad I chose to wait to eat here. They have a fairly wide beer selection, with some good local brews to try as well.
Overall, the prices are very fair and the portions are quite large especially considering the price. I got the mac and cheese with chicken - I was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted!
The best part of the dinner, though, was the nachos. They were huge! The cheese was also layered, which is a great touch that not many other places are willing to do. I would highly recommend trying the nachos for an appetizer.
I wish I could give Panther Pub and Grille 4.5 stars overall, but unfortunately that is not an option. I can’t give it 5 stars because it certainly wasn’t perfect or one of the best places I’ve ever eaten at, but if you are in the Plymouth area and are looking for large portions of quality pub eats, I certainly highly recommend...
Read moreIf you go, get the Nachos. They're delicious, and even a half portion is too much for two people. There's a wide selection of beer on tap, and all the expected pub grub menu options. Prices are reasonable too.
Maybe I'll give this place another try sometime, but service was pretty awful. We stood at the 'wait to be seated' sign for a solid 10 minutes before anyone came by, despite many glances from the waitstaff. When they finally came over to get another group who were ahead of us, I had to ask if there is a long wait expected. No one else was waiting to be seated, but she shrugged and said I don't really know.
A few minutes later, a different waitress came to seat us. She took our drink orders and only brought one of the two drinks back. The other never came until our food came out and I asked for it. She apologized, and then got my drink but it wasn't what I ordered.
Overall, good food but...
