Food wasn't bad but small portions, I did end up leaving hungry and that's with getting an appetizer. The environment is the best part of the place however was overshadowed by the poor service. My guest and I were seated at the bar. While siting there we were given our drinks and menu's however it went downhill from here when 10- 15 mins had gone by and the bartender(who I guess doubled as our server) ignored us and proceeded to talk to other people. FYI the bar wasn't packed I'm talking 4 people tops including me and my guest. As we sat there he finally came over and took our orders which by the way took about 40 mins to get pretty lengthy time. As we sat there other people at the bar were offered bread and refreshments while me and my guest continued to be ignored. Which I found pretty impressive considering the guy was right infront of us however he found a way to do this throughout the night. We had to ask for bread and butter to be given to us, he did not just automatically bring it to us. Which we were in dire need of due to not having food brought to us in a timely manner. Afterwards he went back to talking to other people and ignored us the rest of the night. Least to say the bartender got a lousy tip that night and he shouldn't be surprised at all by it. I would give this place 5 stars if the food portions were better and the service as well. Everything else was fine and still think it is a great place to eat. However if I do ever go back I will surely request a table and not to be seated...

I dont even know where to begin with this review... the amazingly perfect service, the absolutely incredible food, or the wonderfully unique decor and atmosphere...

The service was great from the start, we walked in without a reservation and had to wait about 15 minutes as they were busy. Luckily, we were able to spend that time at the bar with a very attentive and polite server. After being seated we had a server who really knew her stuff, and stopped by at all the right times without being overbearing. Grandma was very impressed by the server voluntarily sharing the prices of the nightly specials without asking, which most places dont do.

The restaurant is inside of an old farmhouse, but has been retrofitted for it's new purpose. This gives a very unique feel of having multiple tables inside "bedrooms" and "side rooms" and you feel like you're walking through someone's home, but in a good way. We were seated right next to a bay window in what felt like a living room, with a full bar in the room next door. Loved it!

The food though.... might be the best ever. I had one of the nightly specials, a ribeye au poivre, which blew me away. It was a huge portion too. The star dish at the table may have been the buffalo chicken mac & cheese, which was much better than it sounds. Every dish at the table was an absolute hit! Very delicious, and prepared and plated perfectly.

No joke, probably the best restaurant I've ever been to. Highly, highly, highly recommend...

Six Burner Bistro used to be the best food in Plymouth, New Hampshire.... that is until two years ago the owner sold the establishment, to some delinquent drug abusers who are slowly running this establishment into the ground. After continued hope that the sale of the restaurant would not change the quality of the food I could not have been further from accurate. The food which they say is local and fresh, is possibly local, but never fresh, and always tasted like it has been frozen, and pre cooked. Yet as the food in Plymouth is not that good to begin with, Six Burner Bistro is now barley better then PHOP for Plymouth food. Today takes the cake, after placing a order, we had food missing, and they were reluctant to give us the order of the soups which were missing, and only after a emotional argument with the employee on the phone, finally they said they would make me another soup, but I don't trust that they did not spit in the soup, or anything else unsanitary. I really am saddened by this report, as Six Burner used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Plymouth, yet it seems now the current owner wants to make a profit, not caring about the quality of...

Don't let the pictures fool you; this was the most flavorless chicken sandwich I've ever had. Combined with doughy, unpleasant Thai dumplings this restaurant needs to rethink their menu. Behind the kitchen are inexperienced kids with bad customer service and probably can't even cook for themselves let alone a restaurant. Only thing that saved the rating from a 1 is the peanut butter pie. For whatever reason, it was excellent and on a different level than the rest of the food. Even with the random garnishes attached to the plate (that had nothing to do with the flavor profile) the pie was just outstanding.

Did not have a reservation but happily accommodated us at a high top in bar area. Bartender , Bob took care of us. Man of few words was delightful and took very good care of us. Food was really good. Pear prosciutto appetizer, house salad, fresh warm bread with flavored butter, chicken achiote and rice noodles bowl with tofu as entrees. Tofu was on crispy side like a chip but I soaked it in the lemon basil broth. Everything was great. Plus it's located in a charming old house with different dining rooms. Definitely recommend, plus there's parking.
