My 15 year old daughter as she approached the store with her friend, In a kind voice, asked the store clerk if they were open. He RUDELY REPLIED, In a harsh and elevated voice, does it look like I'm open, NO? With that rejected and negative and frightened feeling, they quickly turned and walked the other way. Her friend then looked back and he then flipped the closed sign to Open.

I then informed him that it is a shame he lost some sales today. With that, he replied, what do you mean. I then informed what he did. With that, I couldn't believe what happened next.
He said, yes, that is right. That is the worst question to ask someone I retail, "are you open". I reminded him, she is only 15. He was hard on his tongue, and I quickly realized, he is Always Right. At least that is what he thinks. I told him, is see that this conversation is going nowhere, and told him that I see you are always right. That is right, I own this place.
I turned and walked away.
He does not realize, The CUSTOMER is always right and that his actions are verbally harmful and toxic. His negative attitude caused him to lose sales, and even more damming, for a brief moment, spoiled a child's vacation and her pursuit to enjoy Harry Potter shopping.

The guy needs to learn to be kind, no matter what the situation...

Jeff’s s-box is flawless and if you try it once, you’re sure to return for more. Pam was phenomenal. It was unclear whether she was a spirit herself, regardless, she was a well of information on the spirit energy at burial hill. I will never forget her face. I could not recommend this tour...
