Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Pocatello

I have never, ever had a bad thing to say about Chick-fil-A. My husband and I get it 1-2 times a week in Idaho Falls, so we thought we’d take the kids out. It wasn’t difficult to access and we got there after 5pm, so no problem with the parking. Ordering was pretty easy, but they do have a very limited menu (still no problem). The amount of time it took for our food to come was extremely long. There weren’t many people there in line, but several people were waiting for their orders. We received ours about 15 minutes after ordering. The young man that ordered BEFORE us was missing some items and came back to get them. He still hadn’t received his spicy deluxe and fries by the time our family had finished dinner! (I think they are short-staffed in the kitchen) Sadly, my own food wasn’t up to Chick-fil-A standards. The lemonade didn’t taste quite right and the chicken wrap fell flat. On the other hand, my kids enjoyed their Chick-fil-A sandwiches and my husband’s spicy deluxe was good. The food is great don't get me wrong but it's other problems that gives this a 1 star. First off is parking is an absolute nightmare. There really is no reasonable parking for a regular person. Second is and I very well understand that this is on a college campus and they will get a rush around lunch but I come earlier and earlier each time and that rush seems to be completely random! I attempt to pick up my wife lunch and even come an hour before she can have it so it will be cold and will need to be reheated. I don't realistically have tome to stand in a line for 45 minutes... There are very easy things that could be done to help this but I doubt will ever happen. Easiest one would be to allow online orders for pickup. They make the order and it sits on a rack already paid for. If it doesn't get picked up oh well, no loss for them. Maybe talk to the campus and get like 2 parking spots for regular people just for chic-fil-a. Those are easy things that would immensely help the issues but honestly I don't think anybody cares about that there and it...

Great food as always. It was beginning of June during Summer Break so hardly anyone was in the student hall. But they still took almost 20 minutes to make our lunch (1 Chick-fil-A sandwich, 1 salad, 1 grilled nuggets), and there was only one other customer there besides us.

But after ordering $25 in food and drinks for lunch, they refused to give me one simple refill of my Coke. Even after I told them that the server filled my cup with 70% ice to begin with.

I know the owner doesn’t want to give free refills to the students all day when they sit in the student hall and study.

But I’m 61 and obviously definitely NOT a student there. My wife and I were just visiting. The worker said she would be “fired” if she gave me a refill....
