The Soda Barn — Restaurant in Pocatello

I went to the 5th street location today for the first time it was around noon. I ordered a “make your own” drink with Monster in it. I ordered it as a 44oz. I was told then that you do t sell them that way but you could just charge me extra for it. I was fine with that. My total came to four dollars and some change. The drink was so good that at 245 I can back for another one. I ordered the same thing. Even went so far as to tell them that they charged me extra. I got to the window and the told me that my total was five dollars and change. I told her it was four dollars last time but it was no big deal. Then she hands me a 32oz drink. I politely explained that I paid for a 44oz drink. Then the man who I assume is the manager and looks like he needs to take a shower told me that was what I was getting. So I just paid a dollar and change more for less drink than I got three hours prior. I will not be going to Soda...

I can comment on the product and the service. First, the cookies are so good and are generally worth the price. The drinks are great but I would suggest that you find the right flavor combination to make you happy. Sometimes the flavor can be a bit weak. Depends on who makes it I guess. The service is great and always with a smile and willingness to help. This time in the young lady at the window was so happy and positive ! Menu price is wrong. :/ I ordered a small Red Bull drink and the menu says it would be $4.75 but I was charged $6.75 and confirmed it was a small.

The drink I ordered wasn’t a customized drink, but one listed on the menu. I didn’t add any additional syrups, fruit, ext.

It would help to add on the menu that the prices shown are for the soda base and not the drinks shown/listed on the menu.

Something else that could prevent confusion would be listing the price of a drink that’s apart...
