Farmer Boys — Restaurant in Pomona

Seen this restaurant a few times on my commute and decided to stop by to grab dinner. First time here and the woman working the drive-thru recommended the Farmer burger. We ordered that along with the fiery chicken sandwich. Instead of fries, we got onion rings. We also got a strawberry shake. The food was alright. It wasn't anything special even when compared to burger chains. The onion rings were bland and needed the ranch and ketchup to help it out. The shake was tasty, it is worth getting. What stood out the most was the fact that our order was messed up. We checked the box they handed us and saw that it wasn't what we had ordered so we went back in to get what we ordered. The girl working the drive-thru and the guy who handed us the food were quite afraid of the older woman who I assume was the manager. She was upset at the mistake and even I felt it. It was a mistake, no need to be so hostile to the workers and...

Not cheap food. It's quality food but should match the price tag. They are known for their Large Portions & rich tasting food. They have an app you can use to earn points with your purchases, which is good if you are already doing so then you will get a nice surprise later. They have drive thru and a dinning hall where you get to get your own drinks from their soda fountain station. Then you can wait at the table of your choice with your order's number and they will bring your order to you. If you really enjoyed your meal then they have a friendly etiquette that you can "ring" their bell on the wall to let the staff (and everyone else in the dinning hall) know that you enjoyed your meal and this means you are complementing the cooks and help staff. Register young lady was not pleasant at all. Guess she was having a bad day. I don't know. She failed to give me my receipt. I thinking okay they will deliver it with my meal Well your man was pleasant ! He had what I thought was the receipt when he brought my tray of food. But he didn't leave it. 😕 Weird I'm thinking. . So the fries were great nice and hot. At some of them at dine in to burger and rest with me. . My bread was a little hard. But maybe because I at it much later and cold. But it is the second only burger I found that I can eat cold. I can never eat the whole meal in one sitting. I usually eat fries.
