Golden Corral Buffet & Grill — Restaurant in Pomona

This was completely the worst Golden Corral I have ever been to. I waited 2 hours and the trays were still empty there was about 30 of us asking for a refund and was refused a refund after 2 hours I ended up leaving there with only eating salad. The only thing that was halfway decent was the salad bar and the dessert bar because they both had a lady behind them restocking. I complained over and over to the manager Veronica and nothing was done. After an hour and 15 minutes they finally put some fried chicken out when I cut it down the middle it was completely Raw I called the manager over she took it and showed it to the Cook. They put out the white fish I couldn't even get out of the tray it broke apart like if it was mashed potatoes it was completely overcooked. Other than that I would say 85% of all the trays were empty the whole 2 hours that I was there. The young manager Veronica said she had to call in someone else to help out because they didn't have enough personnel. This restaurant was filthy and needs to have the health department called. When I asked for a refund I was told that the registers lock after 1 hour so they were not allowed to give me a refund. I was completely insulted when the manager gave me a coupon for a free beverage. In other words I would have to drive 2 hours to that location buy another buffet dinner to get a free beverage that was completely an insult. Golden Corral buffet needs to change their system where they can give refunds after an hour of waiting. There was another party of 14 and another party of nine that were right there with me complaining for their money back or for the food to be put in the trays and nothing was done after 2 hours I left the only thing I ate was salad I paid a lot of money for a plate of salad. Don't waste your time going here. I do have to say that our server Alyssa tried her hardest to get the three people in the kitchen to present some food. I don't know how she kept her cool but she did everybody was in her face. This is a pig style...

This is the worst experience i’ve ever had in dining. Went for my me and my brothers birthday. Golden Corral used to be the best place before covid but after has just gone downhill. Not only was it expensive as hell but the food was subpar. Our waiter and one of the lady’s working dessert were the actual worst. I am not one to complain and have had a place get my order completely wrong but not experienced service worst than this. We had been sitting for 20 minutes and not one person had checked to see how things were going and we kept asking waiters walking but for drinks. We got food and came back and after being around for another ten minutes the waitress finally came. She was nice at first and got our drinks which there were a lot. She didn’t write them down and was already having trouble repeating the order back to us but i honestly had faith she was gonna come back with the correct drinks. She came back with 3 drinks when 9 were ordered. After 3 times of coming back and fourth she had still not finished bringing drinks and then she said that the drink machine was broken and she would come back and tell us when our drinks were ready. She came back and didn’t tell us and said she didn’t know so my aunt went to the front and asked. The waitress then got mad and started yelling at my aunt, then us. The really nice manager came and apologized for her behavior and gave us a new waiter. We went to go get dessert and the strawberry covered strawberries were gone so we asked the lady behind the counter at dessert if there was anymore. She said they were about to close and it was two hours till closing. So really it was just her being lazy. The cherry pie was just a little piece of crust and we asked if there was anymore pie and she said no so we said how are you guys not gonna have anymore of anything and she just said i need to talk to someone else. Overall terrible service and super expensive so...

Well here we go! We’ve been eating at Golden Corral for sometime now, we used to come to this one in Pomona, city of Industry, and now Ontario. We decided to stop here cause it was close to church and haven’t eaten at this one in a long time. Well let’s just say, we know why!!! It wasn’t crowded, like the other ones so we took a chance. We paid( good price) walked to the back area (by salads bar) and the first thing, smelled like a Vegas casino(smoke), we went over to the other side by the banquet room, booths were worn down, torn, dirty! Finally found a booth , clean, and not crowed, service person was super nice( as well as the other staff). Went to get food, boy o boy , certain food was old, you can tell by the way it sat in the warmer, low stock for times in end, even cold, dry, some food was even tasteless . Even the utensils to get food were mixed in with other food (not blaming staff, I know people can be petty) but they should notice it anyhow! Hardly any plates in the holder to get new plates , The interior of this establishment needs a major redo, cleaner carpet, walls, and come on, if you have a 1” of dust gathered on your light covers, you ain’t cleaning! Even the restroom was a disaster,
