Went there with a groupon in hand. When we got there, it looked closed. No customers and very dark, however the door was unlocked and we walked in. Greeted by a very nice lady (who is not Cristina by the way). It was around 7pm on a Thursday night and the restaurant next door, The Hog, was lit up and full of people. Felt weird being in a completely empty restaurant with the lights really really dim. Menu was ok, not a huge selection but the prices were on the high side compared to where this restaurant is located. We have a really nice Greek restaurant next to us with lower prices and much better area/atmosphere. The restaurant and the bathrooms were clean. I had the chicken platter which was good. They didn't have lemon potatoes which I always get at Greek restaurants, so that was disappointing. Wife got pork platter and it did not taste good. Pork had a weird taste to it. Gave it 3 stars because of the cleanliness and the one lady there was very nice. However food was not so great and we really felt uncomfortable eating in a dark restaurant by ourselves. We will not be going back there. But maybe we just had...
Read moreChristina and her husband are two of the most kind people ever! My grandparents and I were really in a spot last night. They can’t have certain foods which means I couldn’t stop just anywhere to get them something to eat. We happened upon the gyro joint and I noticed the door was unlocked, although they closed at 9pm when we opened the door at 9:15 Christina happily greeted us! Not only did she welcome us with a warm smile but she also worked with us to tweak the menu and spices so both my grandparents could have something to eat! I have never seen a business owner stay open half an hour later to help someone out! The food was spectacular and we all loved it! THE HUMMUS IS AMAZING it’s a definite must try! If I could rate 10 stars for...
Read moreFood was tasty and service was good. The first thing we noticed that they did not set out any pita bread or dip on the table which is odd for Greek hospitality. However, and they may be transitioning with the move, the prices are all over the place. They are charging prices of a fancy restaurant and it is not. A baklava is priced at $4 on the wall and the waitress quotes $6 on the internet we found it at $1.99. We paid $18 for a gyro with a side salad and fries - this is usually $9-$12 anywhere - including the Greek Islands which is the Mecca of Greek food in South Florida. We came in with a Groupon they actually wanted us to pay the 18% tip on the tax. I wish them well but, "nickel and dime" attitude leaves a bad taste in a...
