Updated 9/2023: They now charge 5 dollars to deliver. They upcharge for meats above what the national coupon price. Ordered the 19.99 family deal. Supposed to be 2 toppings each pie in the price. I only order pepperoni and chicken. Half of what I should be getting. Order total was over 30 dollars after the delivery and 3 dollar meat charge. Ordered contactless delivery. Did not leave driver a tip since I assume the store shares with them some of the 5 dollar fee. Driver calls me from my driveway asking for one. I explain they need to take that up with their franchise owner. Every pizza place around here has free delivery over 20 dollar order. I guess not Dominoes. My kids like the pizza. I just don't like all the smoke and mirrors.
3 yearv old review - You get what you pay for. Delivery charge to local towns is a bit high (4 dollars plus) and then a tip is expected too. Normally charges extra for toppings and does not honor national promotions although my last few they did better on the pricing. Pizza is decent normally. My most recent order took 34 minutes to deliver from 8 miles away. Driver said no way it took 8 minutes but the food was cold. Pickup seems the way to go...
Read moreI ordered a medium pie to get delivered to Wanaque delivery charge was 3.99. Plus tax ok. So I waited 45 mins. That was fine but this did you pay with all the charges came up to $20 Expensive just for median Philly cheesesteak pizza But then the delivery guy Looked at me abd said no tip ??? I said I’m Sorry I thought the 3.99 was for you I didn’t know and gave him 4 bucks tip. I didn’t like how rude the delivery guy was just standing there looking at me so I asked him was everything OK and he goes no tip that was strang who does that asks for tip. And I think they should let us know that the delivery charge is now with the tip but the delivery guy shouldn’t be asking for one I think that’s a little bit disrespectful I mean I gave you four dollars cause I felt bad anyways ... I worked everywhere almost and never asked anyone to tip me like that. So this pizza cost me 24 bucks not...
Read moreIn my experience, the majority of problems people have with making good dough comes down to incorrectly measuring flour, and the absolute worst way to do it is with a cup measure. The best pizza (and bread) recipes will call for ingredients by weight instead of by volume.
Why is this? It's because flour is compressible. Measure your flour by sifting it into a cup and you'll end up with about four ounces of flour when the cup is totally full. On the other hand, measure your flour by firmly dipping that cup measure into a bag of flour and leveling it off and you can end up with as much as six ounces of flour in the same cup. That's a difference of 50%!
Using a scale will ensure that no matter how compressed your flour is, you'll always be using exactly the correct amount.
