Tony's Pizza — Restaurant in Pompton Lakes

We were a little concerned to order from Tony's when Margherita was spelled wrong on the menu [they spelled it Margarita, like the drink]. Well, we were in the neighborhood and all in on trying new pies. We weren't wrong. The pie had plenty of fresh mozz covering the crust. The unique part of the pie is that it had roasted peppers on it [this was different]. The crust - the typical thickness of a regular pie but very dry upon the first bite. The sauce and mozz was not bad at all with the basil but what completely changed the flavor was the roasted peppers; unfortunately it overtook the entire flavor of the pie. This would've been a decent margherita pie minus the roasted peppers and crust. We also decided to try a regular pie with vegetables. The pie was LOADED with veges to the point where it completely fell apart. I've never eaten pizza with a fork but had no choice with this one. Overall, it was okay. The regular mozz, sauce, and crust [still a little dry] were good [the sauce was definitely the highlight here. The veges should probably see a decrease just so that it...

I would love to not even leave a star that’s how bad this place is. I gave it benefit of the doubt TWICE and both times the same 60 year old waitress they have was horrible and I’ve never seen someone so rude. I went with my family the first time and she was not friendly at all and made me feel uncomfortable to even ask her for a juice. They seriously need to update the decor as well and heir waitstaff. We tried to explain to her about the quesadilla being terrible and she did not say a word and walked away with the plates in the middle of us speaking to her and never returned for our check so we paid at the front desk. Very unapproachable both times! She doesn’t smile or anything and is extremely annoyed she has to wait on people even though the place is EMPTY. The plain pizza was good but the specialty ones look bad. We ordered their Mexican food as well, the chicken quesadilla was not a quesadilla but an enchilada style meal and the chicken was so disgusting it smelled as if it was boiled. I will never be returning there. ...

If i could Give this place 0 stars i would DO NOT EAT HERE . I called In a pick up order and asked for a spinach Stromboli 3 times the guy asked if i said regular cheese Stromboli & i finally got him to understand spinach . Did i get a spinach Stromboli? Nope ! I got A shrimp and spinach Stromboli .... who eats SHRIMP in a Stromboli . I get It maybe he didn’t hear me right . I called Back and asked him to remake it since i was Incorrect, he argued with me that i order Shrimp and he repeated it back 3 times which wasn’t true . I got back to Tony’s and the guy proceeded to ask me if i had The Stromboli when he never asked me to bring it in . We’re in the middle of a pandemic and you want me to bring back something i already Touched ? Anyways the guy tried to tell me that i didnt Order it correctly while rolling his eyes and handing me the correct order .
