Read moreWe happened to arrive while they were empty and probably five parties arrived within minutes of us. I personally felt that the service was quite good though I know a few tables after us were a little upset by the timing of their drink orders.
Our coffee also took a bit longer to come out than expected (for example our breakfast sandwiches came out first) but everything was prepared well and hit the spot. The latte and cortadito were excellent as was the açaí bowl.
My husband went back for a second cortadito and spoke to who he thought was the owner for a few minutes. He said she was very lovely and clearly was motivated to make sure tourists enjoy/ come back to Ponce-- I appreciated she cares about her city and wants to bring back money to the Ponce economy. It's a lovely city!
We sat outside with views of the plaza las delicias fountain and had a very pleasant brekky. We would certainly come back here again!

We tried again the next day for coffee and not only were they rude but refused to give us just a regular coffee with cream. Instead we had to order a latte which took them 20 minutes to make!
