King's Cream — Restaurant in Ponce

Ice cream is delicious but service is horrible!! As I was waiting, I could clearly hear the attendant very upset at a customer because after she ordered and was served about 5 ice creams she tried to pay with a debit card. It was posted cash only, no ATH service but the customer didn't notice the sign before ordering. Then it was our turn to be publicly embarrassed by the attendant for no wearing masks. I didn't see a sign anywhere saying that masks must be wear. If i would've known, I absolutely would, I have zero problems with that. We rushed out of the car when we were dropped off, there was no parking available . Have i noticed that masks were required and none of us have one on, we would've waited outside or left since we didn't have any masks to wear with us, not even our purses. Yelling, not telling, YELLING at customers to stand back and embarrassing them is unnecessary. Why not telling us that mask use was required as we entered or when we were sitting inside waiting. It's not the first time I personally experience awful customer service there. A while ago, the male attendant was really condescending and even ignored us while he took a personal call to argue with a woman, nasty argument i must say. We felt very uncomfortable. We will never go back there, there's another location to go very close by. If you don't mind bad customer service, I recommend you should go try...

Be advised that they require you(verbally)to spend over $10 to be able to pay with a credit card,otherwise they require you to pay with cash.They should display this somewhere so customers don't waste their time in line unaware of this issue ahead. Also the customer service is awful.The cashier ,a lady that was there on Feb 13 was very uneducated and rude towards me an other customers ahead of me. No "Welcome" no "Thank you". Manners matter. The place is tiny and crowded ,no tables, just 3 chairs, that's it. They should have benches instead. All in all not a pleasant experience.Sorry but I will spend my money elsewhere next time. The ice cream is second to none in the Ponce area. The variety of flavors and amazing taste are a wonder to have on a hot day. Unfortunately, the staff is not the most pleasant. Customer service, to me, is incredibly important and just because of this I will not visit again. The two employees present tonight need to work on their manners and hospitality.
