The Kitchen by Chef Teissonniere — Restaurant in Ponce

No one person in our party of four enjoyed they’re meal. Presentation was good and the place is nicely appointed; however, the taste was just not there. The only course we enjoyed was the dessert. Drinks were watered down, the croquetas had no flavor and the main dishes were just okay. On top of everything, the service was terrible. I understand the staff shortage that restaurants are facing but come on, if a customer asks for a new set of utensils because they are dirty, how on earth is it ok to tell them “no, because we have not had the time to wash the dishes”?? No one course arrived at the same time for everyone in our party. We even had to remind our server that a drink was missing, twice. The place was half full! Also, double check your bill! This place will over charge you. When I arrived home I noticed that the prices on the receipt were different from the prices on the menu. Its not a matter of a few bucks here and there, its a matter of honesty, decency and not to try to deceive your customers. I would not recommend this place at all. Al llegar nos recibieron amables e inclusive el gerente a cargo ,Leo , muy cooperador y me ayudó con un pequeño brazo Gitano artesanal que traje de mi casa. En ningún momento me indica que el poner el brazo Gitano en su misma caja en la mesa tenía un costo adicional de $20.00.! He quedado impresionada como se ha perdido el respeto por las atenciones a los clientes.. Con relación al pescado estaba seco y pedí las peras al brandy para el postre desde el principio y me indica que si pero al final no las tenía disponibles.?? De veras he visitado muchos restaurantes y no lo recomiendo si te encuentras en Ponce hay mejores opciones. Definitivamente no volveré.
