Hi - Ho 2 — Restaurant in Ponchatoula

I have to say I was very impressed with this business food. Looking at it you wouldn't think much but wow they got some good eatin here. The best places and food usually are this way. The potato salad was off the hook. You read that right. It's the best sweet tasting potato salad I have had in years. If you like sweet pickles and flavor potato salad this is it right here. Next, I tried the Coleslaw. I took one bite and a big smile came on my face. Why? It was the best sweet tasting Coleslaw I've ever had. Yes sweet tasting Coleslaw right here. After that I tried the baked beans. These are not just any baked beans no sir. There was beef, beans, bbq sauce, and sweet taste in my mouth busting with flavor. I was like wow! That is legit right there. I loved every single bit of it and wanted more. I still had the grilled chicken left that they made sure I had no cross contamination on the grill for my allergy. It was grilled to perfection and the bbq sauce was a nice touch. They are also have chicken fries. Yes you read that correctly. If they were not out of them I definitely would have tried them.

As you can see loved the food and experience at HI Ho #2 and highly recommended them if you live in town or just passing through like me. Tell them I sent you they will appreciate it.

Very disappointed I was actually very excited to try the restaurant Drove from marpause to get the food got back home and was missing the sausage out of my plate and not only that everything was plain and barley had taste unless I added the bbq sauce that they provided on the side the best thing was the potatoe salad very confused as to why the sliced beef had no flavor the ribs weren't bad but weren't the best wish my experience wouldn't been different especially since the workers were so nice ! :( being the fact I was an hour away and couldn't drive back they wouldn't refund me so now I have to drive an hour back tmr... it may just seem like a price of sausage or bland food but driving an hour and missing food and having highly bland food is unacceptable like I said in the beginning I was very excited and wound up very...

Very disappointing experience. I waited in take out for 30 minutes only to twice be brought out the wrong order. When I complained that I had been waiting 30 minutes and two cars behind me had been served before me I was cursed at by the young, angry lady…she looked to be about 26 to 30 years old. She kept my payment and the tip I gave her when I placed my order. And, I never received my paid order. I’m very surprised in that I know the owners from Rotary Club.
