I smelled the fried chicken when I was at the air museum outside Miss Sophie's and had to try it. What a fabulous group of ladies and good ole homegrown southern cooking. Great Fried Chicken, Broccoli Casserole, Sweet Potato Casserole, and Banana Pudding.

Giant fried pork chop to die for beans with onions and broiled red potatoes, all excellent and all for only 10 bucks. This is a real restaurant with legit food and very nice furnishings. Not to mention Southern hospitality, of course.

I have eaten here numerous times. Food is good and usually fresh/hot. I'm giving 3 stars only because on this day in particular I ordered a salad to go. As soon as I opened the box there was an odor, the lettuce was bad and it was turning brown. When I called to let them know it wasn't we apologize or anything they responded with we all have smelled the lettuce and it's fine. That could've been the case but my salad was bad. Customer service was not good...

I was tempted to make the OREO DELIGHT recipe that appeared in Bluffton Today this week. There was no problem with the crust or the filling part. The problem came when I read step #3 that said to "spread the pudding over cookie crumbs and CREAM CHEESE mixture". There is no mention of cream cheese in either the crust or the filling. Then I looked at the BLUEBERRY DELIGHT and could you explain what "cream sugar"...

I attended a Company Christmas Party held at The Mighty 8th this year and Miss Sophie's did an amazing job with the catering. Everything on the menu was absolutely perfect.
