McDonald's — Restaurant in Poplar Bluff

We just went through the drive thru and the person sounded very nice, but once we pull forward we notice a truck parked at the second window vehicle turned off completely. We ordered 4 mcdoubles. Yes we was hoping they was fresh and of course they were, but we waited 10 minutes for them because the customer in front of us ordered pies. I understand you have to drop pies fresh and so yes there is a wait, but what got me was the window worker propped open the window and leaned out the window talking with the customer when she could've brought us our food to the back window knowing she was waiting on pies at her first window. No, she continued to talk to the parked customer. We finally pull up to the window our drinks are not prepared yet, and she tells us our total, hands us the drinks and food and tells us to have a good night. No receipt, straws this could be due to the fact that there was a woman in line behind us she knew was waiting to talk with the window worker we got rushed with no extra conversation, but she could have a ten minute conversation with the person in front of us. This was my second attempt to give the new place a chance. They failed royally again. Asked for a quarter pounder w/ bacon and cheese and no onion. They gave me no bacon and no onion and a bunch of grease on the bun and all over the box. The fries were cold, greasy, and limp. The tea was so sweet I felt I was drinking just sugar water. Threw most of the meal away it was so horrible. The lady at the window when I told her the fries were yuck she said she didn't know she doesn't like fries...like I care whether she likes them or not. The point being she should have said, "I'm so sorry pull forward please and I will get you fresh ones." I even had to ask for napkins and ketchup and salt or I would have had none. Seriously? I shouldn't have to ask for that stuff. The salt packets I got were all stuck together with something gross and hard that used to be some kind of liquid. I couldn't use them at all. Needless to say I won't be going back to any McD's. I will say they will always give you another round of food if you want to take the time to drive back through and wait. I am going to take a refund instead. ...

Service was very poor. Second time at least that I've pulled through the drive thru and I couldn't hear anyone through the speaker. I felt like an idiot yelling at the speaker. I even got out of my vechile to yell into the speaker but I guess no one could hear me. I had the people behind me waiting on me because I was taking so long, and people beside me looking at me like I was insane. Had to go inside, service was pretty poor in there too. Very long wait. They honestly could use more employees or pick up the pace a little bit. Some managers try to act like they care about the customers but they're running around like chickens with their heads cut off and you can tell that they're miserable. I could tell that there was a lot of other customers there who seemed disappointed and it made me upset to see that. Especially considering that most of the customers there were elderly people or seniors. I saw one manager who helped a woman who seemed very frustrated take her food outside and I was happy to see that. Props to Jeremy. He deserves...
