Panda Express — Restaurant in Poplar Bluff

Visited on March 27, 2018. A friend and I came in thinking we were going to have a good meal, but those thoughts were immediately crushed when we saw the food selection. There were maybe 5 different options and the excuse we were given was “Our fryers aren’t up and running yet today”. This was at 12:30PM. They had been opened since 10:30AM, so tell me why the fryers weren’t started in 2 hours time? Anyways, we made the mistake of going ahead and ordering. Here is where the other problem occurred. They failed to mention that their soda machine was down so they literally let us pay for sodas we never recieved! How VERY rude! I ended up trying the Sierra Mist because the sign on the machine CLAIMED that it was in stock, so I filled my cup. To my surprise, all I got was this terrible salty water that I literally gagged on when I took a sip. Other than these issues, the food we did purchase in fact taste good. I would’ve liked to have seen the employees maybe actually let you know about the drinks before you purchased one and if they can’t be operating at 100%, then please by all means close the store until you can actually serve what you’re supposed to be. GEEZ. I’m not going back to this place...

So I go in there to get the family pack the guy suggested that he was going to make some new rice and some new teriyaki that the weight will be 20 something minutes as I'm waiting there this young girl that's working there with a bad attitude I'm sitting in the lobby and I see her putting the unfresh chicken that was there for an hour already teriyaki in the containers she did the same thing with the fried rice like I'm there waiting for all this fresh stuff but she goes ahead and puts everything in the Box and I never got my fresh food I had to stand up and cancel all that and make them put my fresh food in there that I was waiting for I believe that is disrespectful to a customer that just finished spending $51 I don't think she has very good customer service I don't think she cares really what the customer wants I don't know her name but it is 2:31 p.m. the 15th of January 2024 I also tried asking her questions and she really walked away from me I really don't know who's training these young people but if they think they can treat customers in this manner they shouldn't be...

Very small selection. Might be a great place if you have one of a dozen things offered in mind to eat.

The staff was friendly.

The restaurant was clean.

I'm giving a 3 star because we went in but the selection was minimal and of the few things they offered they had a couple they were out of. We decided to go elsewhere because of it.

The food smelt good however we didn't stick around to eat any.

Just due to the lack of selection I doubt I go back .

Might be a great place for someone...
