Dylan's on 9th — Restaurant in Port Arthur

Wanted Steak Bites to go tonight walked in probably 15 people was slow I would say but then again it's Tues night it was acoustic night one guy was playing on stage walked to the pool table area my friend goes to Dylan's and play's pool quite often also orders Snake Bites often we wait for a waitress so we can order and wait we are seeing the majority of the people watching and listening to the performer my friend looks at me a few times by now at least 5 to 10 minutes has gone by I looked over in the kitchen and bar area's trying to see if I could see a waitress or even an employee saw 1 or two people walking around another 5 minutes pass finally I see a girl at the end of the bar looking at the performer and see her glance at us a couple of time's I made sure to make eye contact with her and said in a low voice because she was in the other room about 25 ft away do you work here she shook her head yes and then came over and asked if she could help us my friend ordered our drinks and told her he wanted drinksnites to go she asked if there was anything else she could do for us my friend says yes could I also see you with a smile most would smile big she smiled as if she was taking a pic ( fake smile ) he pics on her saying that's not a smile its fake she replies it's been a long day and goes to get our order in and goes to get our drinks we get our food in a timely manner as soon as she drops it off she must have had it or got the bill rang up and brought it to him and said here you go not trying to rush y'all and left my friend got his money ready and handed to her and she asked do you want your change back 1 she acted like we weren't even there Hello your a waitress don't you make your main money off tips from who "Hello your customers" and she made herself look even worse by having the nerve to ask him would you like your change back "REALLY" everything else but her , was...

Came for lunch on 8/27/25 with my Wife. Upon being seated Wife was told to put her jacket on to cover her shoulders due to dress code. Wife was wearing a workout top that covered the upper body completely and had no exposed top area or even cleavage for that matter. Just sleeveless. Now mind you this wasn't a problem.

THE PROBLEM: A party of 6 that sat across from us had a woman wearing a sleeveless top that exposed the shoulders, cleavage area, and upper back. We were told by the waitress that the owner requested we follow the dress code as we were seated, but would not address as to why the lady at the other table was not covered up nor told to do the same. Why was my wife specifically targeted if this wasn't a race issue?

The waitress and the owner failed to follow up or give good reason as to why the other lady didn't have to follow the supposed dress code. Waitress said "I was going to tell her" but didn't even after we asked why she wasn't told to do the same.

We upped and left due to what appeared to be targeted racial discrimination. Waitress was flustered when told we would not dine here since she would not confront the other lady that was wearing the more revealing...

Myself and some friends were having an extended lunch and catching up. When we got there around noon they told us to seat ourselves. We were a party of eight and there were no other people in the area where we were sitting. We had been there around 2 hours when another party sat in the same area. Unbeknownst to us, that party had reserved that whole area. Nothing was said to us and there were still multiple large tables available. Another hour went by, and the manager came up to our table and began whisking everything away saying that we needed to leave because that party had rented the area. Instead of being professional and asking if they could seat us somewhere else, they pretty much kicked us out. The manager was also overheard telling the other party that they were getting us out of there. We weren't being loud or obnoxious, just friends hanging out. The other party had rented the area from 2:00 to 5:00. Why they waited until 3:00 p.m. to say anything is another mystery. All they had to do was explain the situation to us and offer to move us to a different area. Very unprofessional. You shouldn't be a manager. Will not be visiting that...
