Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Port Hueneme

The last time I ordered Jack's Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich the chicken was barely half the size it usually is. I know they can naturally slightly vary in size but this didnt even come close to their typical size. IF Jack has recently decided to downsize the chicken on Jack's Spicy Chicken then they shouldn't still be charging almost $7 for something smaller than the chicken sandwich on their .value menu. This was on 10/21/23 around 4:30pm at the Port Hueneme location. EDIT:10/30/23, the second photo is from 6am today. It's becoming apparent that they have simply downsized the chicken on the Jack's Spicy. It is no longer the premium sandwich with a chicken breast that was bigger than the bun as it has been for many years. (even the menu photo still shows the breast larger than the bun). It doesn't ever even fill out the bun now. I guess they think we just wouldn't notice we're eating only bread, lettuce & tomato for a few bites of this sandwich. They should lower the price accordingly from $6.59 to $4.59 max. And I don't blame this particular location for this change - this bait and switch was likely devised from the higher ups for their profit. And just like a fart in the wind, they will not notice losing me as a customer. There's no longer anything worth spending my money on at JITB now- first they got rid of the bacon cheddar wedges, now they ruined the Spicy...

Horrible service. Onion rings were under cooked, fries (both curley n regular) were cold. Ordered and extra burger and cashier asked if wanted cheese said yes, thought all was ordered, but she didn't repeat order even though they know screen wasn't working. Didn't know our total till window then rudely said she put ketchup and sauce in bag after we asked for extra. Then my gf asked for ranch and she rudely handed her the 3 ranch containers. Ive had bad service here before but thought I would give it another try after a long day of work. I also work in the on food industry and I would feel terrible to treat a guest like this. I for one will not show up to this jack in the box on Ventura and port hueneme. Have not had an issue with any other one except for the Santa Paula location also. Hope management can change these faults. I do gotta say while I was waiting in line the second time in the drive thru, I did here the supervisor doing what was needed but once we got to the next spot they changed to the cashier and that's how we had this problem....

No one was in line. I waited 10 min before the cashier came out of the restroom even though the manager saw me and walked in front of me and the cashier 2x. Then the cashier came back but had to go clock in, then log in to cash register with I am assuming her ID no. She was not over friendly her question was, "What can I get ya?" When I got my food, it had 1 napkins in bag, and my tacos were completely cold. I should threw out but I was so disgusted between the service and a homeless dirty woman with a bike (inside the restaurant) putting her dirty bags and filthy items on 2 separate tables. I feel for the lady, and I would love to give her a few bucks, but I had no cash on me, but leave u stuff outside. The restaurant tables were filthy even though no customers were there except homeless woman and myself. There is plenty of time to wipe down some tables. I will never return to that place to eat...
