12FEB2025 I recommend avoiding this place due to the disrespect and unprofessionalism, especially towards people in uniform.
I’ve been coming here a few times in the past two years and never had any major issue.
Today, I went by myself in uniform. I signed up for the waitlist with four people ahead of me in groups of two. Eventually, we all got seated simultaneously. I waited there without a menu without a greeting or even an order for a drink service wise as the lady who placed me at the booth proceeded to Service the people that were ahead of me, but also people that were after me as she walked by me without even glancing in my direction serving a group that literally is 2 feet away from me.
I waited about 15 minutes with no one serving or offering a menu.
I finally was about to leave and then one of the other younger ladies that typically works behind the Register, asked if I had been served and I strongly stated no. This lady proceeded to go grab a menu and toss it onto the table without greeting without asking what I wanted to drink without asking if I was ready to order from the menu directly. I’m in uniform infuriated at this point… I waited 30 minutes, standing up as I allowed an older couple to sit down at the booth near the door. I finally got seated and the same person that seated me just proceeded to ignore me the entire time and service everyone around me.
Then, when someone actually asks me if I had been serviced. The younger lady proceeded to grab the menu and just toss it to me and walks away rudely.
I get up and go to the desk at the cash register And talk to the lady who had seated me and proceeded to ignore me. I ordered fried wontons and beef noodles with an iced coffee.
Quickly, the service came out with the food. I was amazed and really it was just an incredible 180, but when she placed my food down, and I had a follow up question, she just proceeded to walk away rudely after she had stated, “There is other people that could have ordered the food”
I’m thinking myself are you serious? What the hell is wrong with her? You placed me here and proceeded to order everybody’s food and ignored me afterwards… Then when it came down to, where is the straws which I wasn’t aware that was on the table behind the chopsticks and I want to get other sauces for the noodles. She just proceeded to be rude and disrespectful and walk away.
The younger lady who is usually behind the register, brought out something entirely different, but didn’t even place it near me, placed it on the furthest point opposite to the booth and proceeded to walk away versus acknowledging If I have any other inquiries or concern. Just absolutely unprofessional!
The older gentleman, the younger gentlemen who were cleaning tables, which was the majority of their focus, unlike the rebuttal disrespect of the original lady having said that everyone is capable of taking my order when she was the only person on the floor taking orders.
I understand they’re busy and I understand patience, but at the same time being blatantly disrespectful towards the customer is insane considering a 45 minute overall wait from the time that I signed up to the time that I sat down. Throwing a menu on my table and proceeding to walk away is disrespectful.
As a military person, I will never go back to PHO SAIGON. I highly recommend everyone else in uniform not to go to this pho restaurant… There are places where people actually want to be professional and run a business versus personally attack customers.
I ended up getting up and leaving. The two female servers there need some professional training and the two gentlemen there are extremely patient and...
Read moreThe lady bussing tables was wearing blue latex gloves came over, took my order, and brought back my iced tea, but was still wearing the gloves. I had noticed her sticking her fingers in the glasses where other people had been drinking out of and touching the silverware and other used dishes. There was some white food debris on the rim of my glass upon further inspection ascwell.I asked a different server if they could bring me a new glass, and the problem was solved. However, this is still really gross, unsanitary, and a big no-no as far as safe food practices. I don't need to drink and eat after the entire restaurant. I know they are busy, but this needs to be fixed. When I went up to the front counter to pay the bill, the same lady with the same blue gloves was there running the register. Not only was she handling dirty food dishes but money and everything else. I stated it earlier, but this needs to be addressed.
Lastly, I do come here a lot, but the attentiveness of the staff is really substandard. I find myself begging for a refill or anything else after the food is brought to the table.
It's a shame because I do like coming here, but I don't think I...

Food is made fresh here, it's ready about 20 minutes after ordering, so consider calling your order in for convenience.
About half an hour before closing this place was packed, so I opted for takeout, in consideration of COVID-19, which worked out great. There's an alcove of seats far removed from diners where I waited safely.
The menu is huge! You can check it out online and order by number.
Choose from 'broken rice' dishes topped with grilled meat, fried rice dishes, rice vermicelli, pho and more. Prices around $10-$15 per plate or takeout container.
Try the combination grilled plate with salad, egg and shrimp paste. Enough to share, light and flavorful.
My takeout came with napkins, utensils, hot sauce, Thai basil, jalapenos, baby bok choy and extra sauce.
The inside is crowded cafeteria style with hardworking efficient staff.
There's a very good drink selection in a cooler just left of the cash register in the rear, including some very interesting looking exotic beers to go with...
