Poke Ramen — Restaurant in Port Hueneme

I have lived in this county for many years and have seen that establishment go thru multiple hands, "Friends being a Fav. "Oh the biscuits &gravy"

Although for me tonight sparked a new Triple D, "they can start setting up for a future episode now" Our first line of business we asked, do we seat ourselves?, and the gal politely said "no" you simply order off the menu above and we will bring the food to were ever you would like to sit. My daughter ordered a appetizer of beef Gyoza and a California roll, my wife ordered the Chicken C pop bowl and I the Poke combo, I really liked the sushi style check sheet to build your bowl, it was simple yet complete. No sooner we stopped talking about how the old layout of the previous restaurants were and our food was ready. Everything looked picture perfect and the smells were spectacular, I have been to Korea, lived in Japan, as well as Hawaii an this is a "genre" of all three. Very Disappointed Got totally wrong bowl than I ordered. They didn't replace my bowl and told me "If you don't like it, Don't order again" Rude, Never go this place.

Ordered house sauce/brown rice got spicy mayo/white rice. I called them on the same night but nobody answered. --This wasn't their first time giving me wrong bowl...-- Almost month later(kept distance after that night) I went again and told them what happened. Cashier said "It's been so long, we can only give you 30%off discount from your next order" They didn't replace my order when they made a mistake. And shock continues. A man stepped(owner?) out of the kitchen told me "If you don't like it, don't order" He shook his hand straight to my face. He still goes, "Don't take orders" to the cashier. Absolutely rude and irresponsible. I used to eat here a lot but Never going back. Make sure you check your order if they got it correct or not. They often get your orders wrong and when they do, they won't...

I tried this place for the first time. I went in and the atmosphere was great. I looked at the menu and have a great selection. You cannot go wrong with these prices for the quantity and quality of food you're getting. I ordered the house special which was a chicken ramen bowl, I chose spicy and an 8 piece order of a furikake roll. I got my order to go. When I opened it all up the ramen was very hot, just how I like it. The broth had such good flavor and I like the shredded carrots it had in it. I would like a little more vegatbles in it but that's just me being picky. The Furikake roll was next. I felt like it needed a little more flavor but nonetheless it was still delicious. I would like to get a packet of soy sauce or even a fork with my to go order which I didn't get and which is why I am rating this 4 starts instead of 5. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
