Uninformed staff & a rude manager who is not versed in customer service. Ordered two combos & specifically asked if sodas were all the same price? Answer was clearly, “yes.” Requested Larges if all same price. Was assured they were. But, the register indicated up charges (2) when sodas were entered. Pointed that out to staff who very also clearly indicated that it would come off in the end. Paid bill & sat down to eat.
Food was good. Did some simple math while eating & determined the up charges (2) did not come off. Addressed with staff who said he would speak with his manager.
Manager approached and was completely unempathetic. Said sodas are not a breakfast drink. Therefore he would not remove up charge. Advised manager that I should have been advised (when I specifically asked) before purchase - NOT After! It appeared that he didn’t understand what was happening. He kept reiterating that breakfast comes with coffee - not soda. He was advised that I eat breakfast at NcDonald’s several times a week & get soda every time.
Manager asked me why I was getting angry, repeating that he could do nothing. I advised him it wasn’t about the money. Rather, the principle. And, he was a liar. I think he could’ve done something. He was so geared in on sodas not being a breakfast drink that he missed everything else including at least trying to appease an unhappy customer - no empathy, not sympathy, no reasonable explanation and certainly no apology.
Employers need to be trained to answer simple questions. We were standing by the cash only open register & a line was forming. A young lady said something to the manager who stepped out of the way so she could take some orders.
The Manager then just turned & walked away with no closure to the situation. Manager did Zero to satisfy a great customer. His arrogance only made things worse!!!
Will not stop eating at McDonald’s, but, will not return to this location - US-19 & Ridge RdivaD#1 in New Port Richie FL.
As I reviewed some of this location’s Reviews, I quickly noticed the 3.6 out of 5 - Not exact stellar! There seems to be an ongoing management problem in which customers often leave feeling like issues are not handled...
Read moreI had the most delightful experience at McDonald's recently, and I just had to share! Keep up the good work, McDonald's team—you're doing an amazing job!
So, picture this: It was a typical Friday afternoon, and I had just finished a long week of work. I decided to treat myself to some comfort food. As I walked into this McDonald's, the aroma of fresh fries and sizzling burgers hit me, and my mouth started watering instantly.
I approached the counter and was greeted with a friendly smile. After placing my order for a Big Mac, large fries, and a chocolate milkshake, I found a cozy spot by the window. While waiting, I couldn't help but overhear a little kid at the next table explaining to his mom how he was planning to build a McNugget tower taller than the Eiffel Tower. His excitement was contagious, and I found myself chuckling along.
When my food arrived, it looked like a work of art. The Big Mac was perfectly layered, the fries were golden and crispy, and the milkshake had just the right amount of whipped cream on top. I took my first bite, and it was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. The juicy beef, the fresh lettuce, the tangy pickles—all coming together in perfect harmony.
As I was savoring my meal, an unexpected comedy show unfolded. A group of teenagers at the next table had decided to have a friendly fry-tossing competition, aiming to land fries into each other's mouths from across the table. It was hilarious to watch, and even the employees were laughing and joining in the fun. One particularly ambitious toss ended up landing a fry in someone's milkshake, and the whole place erupted in laughter.
This visit to McDonald's was not just about the food; it was about the sense of community and the joy that filled the air. McDonald's has a way of bringing people together, creating happy memories, and serving delicious food that hits the spot every time.
Keep up the fantastic work, McDonald's! Your food, your staff, and your welcoming atmosphere always leave me craving more. Can't wait for my next visit!

Read moreI get there this morning and I asked for two hashbrowns and a Sausage Mc griddle no cheese no egg. I get to the first window to pay there’s a mail they’re very nice quick and easy second window there’s a young lady with blond hair she asked me to pull up because they were waiting on my hashbrowns. I get my bag I leave 45 minutes later after I get to work in Trinity I realize that they gave me everything but the sausage Mc griddle all. It was literally just to make griddle patties. I hassle to get back there only to have them try to grill me to prove what time I was there how much I paid and if I had a receipt. I let them know approximately at what time each and everything they asked. I pulled up to the first window now there’s a young light skin girl at the first window where I pay the first time and then I get to the second window and there’s a young Latina girl with tattoos and a pulled back bun Whom I’m familiar with as I’ve seen her before. She looked at me like I had no sense I asked her if she wanted it back that I had it she said no she was good so I’m looking like OK well?? ( in my head because she’s just staring at this point) I tell my husband all the time I see why people go off on them is it right, no but for me to have to go 45 minutes out of my way for you to give me an attitude because you didn’t get it right the first time unacceptable. I really go to McDonald’s and literally every time I do it’s never right. They’re always nasty In regards to attitude of customer service. That’s what happens when you are accusing don’t train them properly to do their job. I did it just like everybody else before them. No value our integrity.
Update: they just don't understand! These fries and to wait over 12 minutes for this and to get this $1 fry for $4 is atrocious! From now on when I get a craving I had to remind myself to keep coming back to look at theses photos and why they should stay right where they are...
