Meh. Embracing Monotone Boredom: A Sleep-Inducing Experience perfect if you're in love with the Clear Eyes Guy.
Applebee's, a restaurant chain known for its mundane approach to dining, fully embodies the spirit of monotone boredom that could effortlessly put you to sleep. With its lackluster service, unremarkable food, and ambiance that feels like a lullaby, it caters to those seeking a restaurant experience devoid of excitement or surprises.
The service at Applebee's continues to disappoint, with staff members seemingly stuck in a perpetual state of disinterest. Their monotonous greetings and robotic demeanor make it hard to believe they truly care about your dining satisfaction. Expect prolonged waits for attention and an overall lack of enthusiasm that may have you yearning for a more engaging interaction.
As for the food, Applebee's manages to maintain its reputation for blandness, serving up dishes that lack any memorable flavors. The menu's vast selection promises variety, but in reality, it delivers a monotonous parade of uninspired options. This culinary mediocrity might be suitable for some seeking safe and familiar choices, but it fails to ignite the taste buds or create any lasting impression.
The atmosphere at Applebee's, if one can even call it that, borders on soporific. With its dull and generic decor, dim lighting, and unremarkable background music, the ambiance feels like an invitation to take an unscheduled nap. If you're looking for a dining destination that sparks conversation or captivates your senses, you're better off exploring elsewhere.
Embracing its identity as a restaurant of "put you to sleep type vibes," Applebee's continues to cater to a specific clientele who seeks nothing more than a quiet, predictable dining experience. For those who thrive on monotony and find comfort in familiarity, this chain might fulfill your desires. However, if you're an adventurer at heart, longing for unique and exciting culinary experiences, Applebee's is unlikely to meet your expectations.
In conclusion, Applebee's remains a safe but unremarkable choice for dining out, fully embracing its reputation as a sleep-inducing establishment. With its monotonous service, lackluster food, and ambiance that exudes tedium, it fails to entice the taste buds or leave a lasting impression. Adventurers seeking memorable dining experiences would be better served exploring other local eateries that offer genuine excitement and...
Read moreLET ME EXPLAIN! Wish we would of just went to Flanigans! Had Blake as our server! I'm not one to give bad reviews on servers, but it was pretty bad service! (I'm a server so I understand) and just mentioning I still left a 22% tip! Ordered 4 cheese Mac the chicken was overcooked and 3 little strips and they changed the noodles to penne which was a bummer but beside the fact. Got the bourbon chicken and shrimp the chicken was overcooked and it came with 4 tiny shrimp, not what it use to be..... got the mashed loaded but it only came with a little cheese and 3 bacon pieces, no butter or sour cream, maybe they don't do that anymore, but as far as service goes we never received a refill on any of our 4 drinks and they were at the edge of our table empty after we finished our apps we had to ask another server for our server 2 times, once to get another water and once to order more food. I feel like the manager is part to blame he dropped our food and seen our empty drinks and stack of dirty app plates and did not take them either. It was 10:32 so they were not closing soon but Blake was more worried about cleaning then providing service. She never cleared our dirty app plates another server did it after our entrees were dropped off from the manager. The same Waitress that cleared our plates I had to asker her for our server again so we could get water or something to drink while we finish our entree. We were still waiting for more food and Blake dropped our check and our first refill of tiny Togo cups of water and Pepsi four 4 people in Togo cups ....WHEN WERE STILL WAITING FOR MORE FOOD! We put our card out before we got the last of our food she took our card without saying anything. I would never take anything off a table without agnolowging a guest! I get why applebees is going down hill the manager was sitting across the restaurant and could see us with empty glasses and asking for our server! Not only that, we were never asked if we were ok, is the food was good, do we need anything!!!! Terrible experience I have had in a very long time at a restaurant! Maybe she was having a bad day but were in the service industry. You don't get that luxury to show that towards guest!!!!!!! On the bright side the resturant was pretty clean and the spinach dip was the only good thing about our experience but how can you mess that up!.... and the server that was not our server was...
Read moreOn Saturday May 6th my wife and I ordered 4 cheese mac and cheese honey pepper chicken tenders. That night around 6pm I ate my dinner while my wife did not eat hers. Around midnight to 1am Sunday I woke up with horrible stomach pain and started dry heaving, then vomiting with extreme diarrhea. I didn't have anything else to eat that day. Then I remembered the chicken tasted funny, it was chewy and when I bit into it, it was a different color but at the time I didn't think anything of it I just thought it was the honey pepper sauce. Now 4 days later I'm in the hospital writing this review waiting for my bloodwork and stool samples to come back that were tested for salmonella. Non stop diarrhea still to this day. Being admitted currently for severe dehydration due to the food poisoning. My wife contacted a manager named "Paul" who said a refund would be issued however only $20 was issued on an $83 check. She proceeded to call back today and conveniently "Paul" is not there so she asked for another manager to which she was told one of them would call her after their phone conference which was 4 hours ago. Clearly we are being brushed off and I don't appreciate it. As far as my food poisoning and hospital stay? Once I am able to be released I will be contacting the St. Lucie county health department and filing a complaint over undercooked food that's dangerous to serve the public. I will also be contacting my lawyer. And contacting the Better Business Bureau. This will end up costing them a lot...
