Not only is this the worst and slowest Wendy's drive-through I have ever encountered in my life, it's the worst and slowest drive-through I've ever encountered, period. The only reason I'm giving it 1 star is because 0 is not an option. I will say however that they got the basic order mostly right and the food was hot--and for that, I'd like to give 1/2 a star--BUT, no ketchup or BBQ sauce, which we asked for, absolutely no ice in the "iced" teas, and fries had no salt, nor were packages of salt put in our to-go bags. The drive-through line moved so slowly that it added an additional 35 minutes to our ETA. Once we got up to the window, they were lining up random drinks for other people's orders while we sat there and waited at the window another good 5-7 minutes for our own food order. While I can't say the staff was rude or mean, they never apologized for the wait, no friendliness or smiles, virtually no interaction except to announce the $ total again at the window, and hand us our 3 bags of food, announcing what was in each bag, which thankfully sounded correct before we drove away. Maybe these employees are tired and overworked, but after reading reviews on Google and Trip Advisor, it seems to be an ongoing pattern. Wish I'd have checked reviews before we stopped, but at worst, one expects a "fast food" restaurant to be faster and more convenient than any sit-down restaurant. Maybe they aren't properly trained and the manager is equally insufficient. Either way, I'm glad I live 700 miles away and never have to deal with this...
Read moreMy son and I were on our way home from Orlando. It was midnight (11/30/19 - 12/1/19), so our choices for a quick bite were limited. This store was open to 2AM, so we pulled off the turnpike. Only the drive-through was open. After waiting 10 minutes in line (only 2 cars in front of me), I ordered a "single" hamburger. My son got a Frosty. Since I can't drive and eat, I parked immediately after getting our food.
The burger was NOT the usual quality of a Wendy's burger. The bun was stale. The burger meat was lukewarm and DRY. I took one bite and thought, "This is terrible." Ah, maybe it's just late, or I hit a "bad spot" in the sandwich, and I'm being picky. I took another bite to confirm. Yep. This burger was inedible. I wasn't going to wait another 10 minutes or more in the drive-through line to return it. So, we just continued our trip home.
Also... the drive-through worker was clearly not happy to be there. No greeting. The only words she spoke were the amount to be paid. No "thank you." She just handed me the food without a word and then closed the window.
The Frosty was good, according to my son. :-) But, we'll be sure to skip this Wendy's store on our next...
Read moreI bought and order at this Wendy’s that was supposed to be five dollars with my coupon , while passing through the drive thru I let them know I had a coupon on my phone and not a paper coupon and they said that would be fine . They also then told me my total was 5.31 . Once I got home I look on my bank and I had been alerted that I was charged 10.31 . I then proceeded to call the store and tell them about this incident and they told me that since it was on my phone they had to charge me full price . I feel as if they should’ve told me instead of swiping my card and not letting me know they had changed me an extra 5 bucks , as I told her what had happen the manager cursed me out and hung up . If your craving Wendy’s I advise you to go to another location and not have to go through what I...
