This review is for any other vegans out there who will be ordering the new vegan cheese option on the pizzas. I want to start off by saying that I adore Cappo's. Their crust is some of the best and their Mediterranean pizza is a genius combination. I'm not local, but my friend lives a few blocks away. Whenever I would visit her, I had been ordering the take and bake option with no cheese and placing vegan cheese on it myself, but stopped as it ended up being too much work to try to figure out how to cook it just right. Then, I was super excited when my friend told me they added vegan cheese as an option. I immediately ordered a Mediterranean pizza with vegan cheese at a surcharge of $7 which though pricy, is well worth it as it would be cooked to perfection and I could have something to eat at my friend's house. When I got the pizza, it looked so good that I had a piece in the car as I could not wait. However, something tasted a little off. I did not immediately put together what had happened. When I got to her house and could look in the light, I realized the feta cheese looked suspiciously like real cheese. But, I know many new products look like the real thing and didn't question it. After all, I had paid for vegan cheese. The Mediterranean pizza has both mozzarella and feta. The mozzarella was obviously vegan. However, the feta was underneath which made it harder to tell if it was vegan. I figured it was fine and didn't want to make a scene at her house. After about an hour, I started not to feel right. I went vegan not only for moral reasons but also my health. Dairy is extremely inflammatory. Anyways, I asked a few of my friends if they thought this could be real cheese on accident. I had them taste it but no one could tell for sure, again, a lot of these mock products taste real. But, I stopped eating it and decided to contact Cappo's. When I finally was able to speak to a manager, I found out that alas I had eaten real feta cheese. Apparently, the way to order this is to mark vegan cheese and also say no feta cheese. Otherwise, they will put vegan mozzarella on and then add real dairy feta cheese too. Big disappointment. I wish that would have somehow been indicated? Now, I spent $30 for a pizza which would have been fabulous otherwise. Had to toss out the rest and now have to live with the guilt that I accidentally ate cheese. If you are vegan, you know. In any case, I do believe this was an honest mistake as it's new to their menu. I do hope this review calls attention to this needing to be marked on their website and ordering system. And, I really don't want some other unsuspecting vegan or someone with a severe cheese allergy to accidentally make the same error I did. As of 12/29/23, Cappo's made a notation on their ordering system and website to notate that only the Mozzarella is vegan. Thank you!! Got one today and most of it is gone because it wound up in my stomach before I had the chance to take a picture. Absolutely perfect! Thank you Cappo's. I adjusted to 4 instead of 3 stars. It would be 5 had they offered to remake the other pizza again for me at no cost. Second picture is the one that doesn't have the nasty feta.

Fantastic pizza! Edited 2-15-19: Yesterday I ordered delivery through DoorDash, which went very well and I am glad that they have it. I had requested that the pizza be heart shaped, and noted that it was a surprise for my wife at work. I requested a note on the box that said "Because flowers are for losers." I wasn't sure if because this was all through DoorDash it would get done.... Not only were my requests met, they were over exceeded. Someone took the time to make a little heart card and use highlighters to decorate it for my note. I cannot say enough how out of this world I think the little extra effort was. My wife loved it, and the pizza. It put a smile on her face during what was a rough day for her. Whoever you are that did this, THANK YOU! Top notch customer service at it's very finest! The management should find out who did this and pay them more. I am a food service industry veteran myself, and it is really the little things that become big ones, and that little thing gave smiles where smiles were needed. We can all certainly use more of those.

Worst take out service I've ever had. Called my order in to the restaurant at 4:30 pm for a 6 pm pick up. The kid on the phone had a hard time understanding I wanted to pick my order up at 6. When I got there the food wasn't even hot as it had probably been sitting since I called and they had forgotten an entire entree. I had to wait 28 minutes with my already made and paid for food in bags until their mistake was fixed. Never offered to keep the food warm for me, and didn't seem to be in much of a hurry to fix the mistake. When we got home the lasagna was as flat as a pancake and stuck to the foil. Worst service ever!

First of all, the name Cappo's is deceiving. I walked in thinking it was an Italian restaurant and was immediately disappointed when I looked at the appetizers. No bruschetta, bread with oil and parmesan, antipasto, not even minestrone soup. The 2 soups they did have were cream of potato, one with sausage and the other with cheese, I think. We ended up having the friend veggies with mushrooms, green beans and onion rings. No complaints, but it's really hard to mess up friend veggies. The wasabi dipping sauce and ranch dressing were really good. My wife had a chicken Caesar salad, which was anything but traditional. I was really surprised when I saw black olives and red onions, but she said it was in the menu and ok with her. The croutons were uneatable, rock hard. The pasta selection was very basic. Lasagna, spaghetti, alfredo, eggplant parmesan, etc. With the name Cappo's I was expecting gnocchi,  different ravioli, vodka cream sauce, maybe a create you own pasta dish. I ended up with the Stromboli. I would challenge the chef to look up Stromboli and justify what they call Stromboli. It was basically pizza bread. It wasn't awful, but definitely not what I expected. Service was OK, but nothing I would review as exceptional. I give it 3 stars because we ordered a couple carryout pizzas a while back and it was OK, but nothing memorable. I will be going back, but not with the notion of an Italian restaurant in mind. The prices were very reasonable, which is another reason for a 2nd visit. Just please make an...

Cappo’s is one of those restaurants that never disappoints! It’s the kind of place where you feel welcome the moment you walk in, and it has that perfect balance of being casual, comfortable, and still serving food that feels like a real treat. The staff are always friendly and attentive, and the service is consistently quick, which makes the whole dining experience even better.

The menu has something for everyone, and everything we’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Their pizzas are a standout—perfect crust, plenty of toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. The pasta dishes are hearty and satisfying, and the sandwiches and salads are just as good. You can tell they really care about quality, and it shows in the taste.

Portion sizes are generous, so you definitely get great value for your money. It’s the kind of place where you can bring the whole family, share a meal, and still have leftovers to take home. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick lunch, a cozy dinner, or even just grabbing takeout, Cappo’s always delivers.

We also love the atmosphere—it’s warm, inviting, and has that local, family-owned charm that makes you feel right at home. You’re not just another customer here; you really feel like part of the community when you dine in.

All in all, Cappo’s is one of those places you can always count on for great food, friendly service, and a welcoming vibe. It’s the kind of restaurant that becomes a regular favorite once you try it, and we always look forward to...
