Smoothie King — Restaurant in Portage

I recently visited Smoothie King in Portage when driving to the west side of Michigan for Memorial Day Weekend and I was blown away by the exceptional customer service provided by one particular employee named Kevin. This store is truly fortunate to have such a dedicated employee!!!

From the moment I walked into the store, Kevin greeted me with a warm and friendly smile. He took the time to listen attentively to my preferences and dietary restrictions, making sure I received the perfect smoothie tailored to my needs.

Refuse our order. We stopped Sept 2nd, 2024, at 6:45PM. I had my trailer as we were heading back home. I parked upfront, and my wife went to go inside, and the guy stopped her, saying, only taking drive-through orders. She said we have the trailer. He said yeah what's the problem?? I could go through, but dude, there will be damage to us and your speaker. Are you paying for it, buddy? Don't like your job quit. We just started coming here 2 months ago. Loved it. The girls do a fantastic job. I'd always give 5 stars. But tonight?? No. We live about an hour away, so when we get time, we always say smoothie king?? Now I feel we can go...

The smoothies are excellent, but as many have said, a bit overpriced. To combat that, it's best practice to use the rewards app and take advantage of free upsize Friday. My biggest complaint, however, is that the music is far, far too loud. I should not have to shout to speak to my companion, and I absolutely did. I understand that the employees likely want to hear the music over the blenders, but the primary purpose of music in an establishment is for the customer's comfort, and a member of my party left with a migraine after waiting in the store for...
