Cheap good food, atmosphere reminds me of my grandmas house. Seems like an old people place but the food is still good. This is an omelette i got and it was huge, it costed 9.99 and i could finish half. My side was the pancake. My mom got the eggs Benedict, she said it was good. The hasbrowns are more soft than im use to, so ask for them crispy. My pancake was a blueberry one, which i didn’t want so i asked for a new one and the waitress said sure. Oj tasted like sugar but still good.

The food was ok (nothing special), the water glass had a hair in it, the server was very polite, also looks like the structure was impacted by the recent adverse weather events (tornadoes) since the restaurant sign was laying in the adjacent lot so, I am not holding that against them. Lots of butter, sugars, oils, greese, etc.... (just a general trend I noticed at diners/restaurants in Michigan). Maybe Worth checking out if you are in the area for breakfast/brunch.

It’s the service for me! Not only is the best service you’ll get ANYWHERE, the food was fresh and exceptional! The waitress Karol was so freaking hospitable and on point! Which only heightened the already phenomenal service! Shout out to whoever was cooking the food! We ordered our food and it came back within 5 mins, piping hot and delicious! The patrons of the establishment added to the southern down home charm of the place. All around this was a great find!!!

I thought I’d share my experience from about 2 years ago as it was removed at some point. I had been going here since I was in middle school(1984). I had always had heat food and service. For this experience I had NEITHER. Our waitress was the ABSOLUTE worst person I’ve EVER encountered. She had an attitude from the moment she came to our table. When asked for straws she literally THREW them at us. I let this slide. When placing our order I asked for NO ONIONS to be in my breakfast burrito which should not be there anyway as they are not an ingredient stated. I have an ALLERGY to them. She rolled her eyes as we were ordering. Let that go as well. We got our food and I proceeded to eat and after 2 bites had a gag issue. There was onion where it DID NOT belong. I simply pushed the plate to the end of the table and waited to see if she would come back. She didn’t and was glaring at us from the window where the food is picked up. Then I believe it was the manager, came over and I told her the issue with the food and asked to have it removed from the bill and my niece stated what happened and the manager was going to comp our bill. THIS waitress proceeded to come over and say “they need to pay for their food”. Arguing with the manager and cursing and caring on with me as well while the ENTIRE restaurant was staring. I was SO embarrassed and had never witnessed such insubordination! She should have been removed and was not. On my previous review someone contacted me and did NOTHING but made excuses! We did pay for everyone else’s food. I will NEVER return. We as customers obviously were not deemed as important in any way. If I could have given 0 stars I would. This was at least 8 months prior to COVID so that cannot be used either. We were not even the only ones she did this to. There were 2 other groups that she was rude to waiting in the parking lot for us...

Have been here before but not for some time maybe even before 2020. I ordered the Eggs Benedict after asking the server if she would recommend it. I'm always skeptical about this dish at restaurants because a lot of cooks don't do it justice. After she said it was a very popular item on the menu I decided to give it a try. We then waited a very long time for our food. When I got my food the poached eggs were hard absolutely no yolks. What Eggs Benedict doesn't have yolks it's 1 of the things that make the dish?. So I called the server back to our table and told her the eggs were hard and way over cooked she looked at me like I had lost my mind got a attitude and asked if I wanted new eggs. I said yes if it's not to much trouble thank you. Trying to be polite and still getting attitude. After about 3 minutes or so she came back with my plate that now had a huge pile of hollandaise sauce on it like 5 cups just insane with 2 fried eggs instead of poached eggs on them. Yes I got yolks but it was not poached eggs and the amount of hollandaise .... crazying and I love a good hollandaise which was not great really lemony. Disappointed and I could only eat 1 with about 2/3 of the hollandaise sauce wiped away. I will say the 5 silver dollar pancakes we got from the kids meal was nice and like 3 times the size we were expecting my granddaughter was only able to eat 1. That was...

Update as of 2/9/2025. We went there for breakfast between 900 and 1030 am. The wait wasn't bad the service was spotty with our waitress, the food was the issue and the portions. Eggs were not done liked my girl wanted them done, my corned beef hash was burnt ( didn't ask how I wanted it and that's not how I like it ) and the portion was so very small for six dollars, it was laughable. I had to wait for my toast which was rye to dip into my eggs when I finally got my three eggs were semi cold by the time she brought me my toast. This place has gone down hill since the last time we were here. The extra little fees are mind blowing, example my girl was charged an extra twenty cents for raisin toast. We both were not very happy with our food or our waitress.

Good hot food cooked like we asked for. Attentive waitress. Fast service getting in and leaving. Price is fair for today's market, serving sizes are very plentiful. Could be a tad warmer in there, yes i know heat costs money lol. We were there 12/23/2023 between 9 and 11 am. We would...
