ALDI — Local services in Portage

Have been going here for years, they still refuse to get changing tables in the bathrooms. My daughter had a poopy diaper, in the winter time, it was 10 °F outside and I was told that they do not have changing tables. So I asked the lady what the solution was, her response was unacceptable if you ask me, she said, "I'm not sure." So I asked her if I should do it outside in the car where its freezing, on the disgusting floor of their bathroom, or where people bag their groceries? She didn't have a response. Come on Aldi, get with the times meijer and mcdonalds and almost everyother place around you, have changing tables in the womens AND men's bathroom. I made a comment to the website when I got home, and was informed that in order to keep prices low, there are some things that they can not do to keep up with larger chain stores. Well needless to say, the baby got changed, she was changed in the car after we had to wait for the car to heat up. I will never shop in these stores again with a child, which is a shame because I do like the store and would shop more often if it was...

The selection is slim compared to other Aldi in the area. This particular time I was in this vicinity and needed to grab some flowers for the local nursing home. I was appalled at their flower selection but it gets worse. I had SLIM pickings but I grabbed a couple in hopes of putting some arrangements together. I figured I could use a FEW of the flowers 💐 and maybe they would give a discount. When I went to the cashier, she was visibly irritated when I asked for a discount. She then called the manager with an attitude, they snatched the flowers from me and said "nope, can't discount these.." and THREW them in the trash 🗑 right in front of me! Can you believe? So you'd rather throw them away then give a 5 percent discount and the rudeness of it all. I was appalled. Don't go here for a few reasons: Poor Selection compared to others in the area, Poor Customer Service, and rudeness. Go elsewhere, this Aldi is horrible. Never again. This location is STEALING online orders that have not been picked up. They are having someone they know come pick up the orders up that have not been picked up when they're supposed to put the groceries back and give a refund. I was out of town when my mother order groceries and was unable to pick them up that same day. I went the next day to figure out what happened with my groceries due to them saying it was picked up when it wasn't. They gave me the run around so bad saying instacart is what I have to contact to figure out what happened when I never used instacart. My mom used the aldi app. So she calls today and they don't know what's happened. Managers have to be contacted. Cameras have to be looked at and if this doesn't get solved the POLICE will be contacted due to theft from this...
