Bruno's — Restaurant in Portland

My new fave cocktail spot in the hood. And that's with Five & Dime across the street from my house. I love Bruno's. Went in twice before, once recently. Went in tonight, on NYE, and the owner recognized us and grabbed an extra bar stool for us as there was only one free. Exceptional!

Update: Finally tried their food and 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Straightforward dishes executed well. It might be the juiciest fried chicken sandwich you'll ever eat. Steak frites w/ chimichurri also an excellent choice.

Update: Bruno's Wings are your last meal selection, whether you know or not. I'm a full stop buffalo sauce gal, but these asian- inspired wings?? Don't pass...

This is a new bar with some food options. Feels lovely and relaxing inside. Great house cocktails and lots of good beer options. Has outdoor seating and a yummy light food menu. Loved the whipped feta dip and ceasar salad! Really like this place. Did not care for their version of a Moscow mule.

Everything else was on point. Love that we can walk there and prices are reasonble. Order drinks and food at the bar. No tabke service. They give number and drop the food off. Service was average. Sure it will get better with time....

Finally checking this place out! So glad I stopped by. The layout and interior design is eye catching. The vibes are right here. Multiple drinks sounded great but I went with the Mind Hunter cocktail. The bartender was fantastic and made recommendations because i was stuck between 3 options. Will definitely have to come back and check out their other cocktails. Did not try their food as I had dinner plans right after but next time ill...
