For the prices, these sandwiches are dismal in quantity and presentation. for a few dollars less, you can get a huge sandwich at Henry Higgins bagels across the parking lot. The customer service is absolutely terrible. I was the only customer in there and the employees acted as if my presence was an inconvenience to them. After I ordered I realized I wanted to go easy on the cheese, and upon request the employee looked at me reluctantly and explained the sandwich was already almost done. It has been 5 minutes (yes I was keeping track) and being the only customer in there I felt it appeared lazy that they couldn’t open my sandwich and take a slice of cheese off. It really wasn’t a ridiculous request. :( i just want to be treated nicely and I left feeling sad and as if I were not welcome there. Not the first time I’ve felt like my order is a huge problem for them, when I have never strayed from the items listed. I’m very sad and will not be returning. Read moreLove this place. The atmosphere, staff, food and drink are all great. I just wish they were open past 4pm.

Worker bees aren't the only people who come. There are a fair amount of moms with small kids or babies in tow. What I like about the folks in this neighborhood is that they seem able to control their kids and understand appropriate behavior for a cafe. Yay.
Had many drinks and some foods here. So far everything is awesome.
My wish for more hours will probably never come...
Read moreGreat location for a little cafe with friendly staff. Another order at the counter and bus yourself.
Unfortunately, the food is a big miss. Conceptually unique and fun, but I’m not excited about blowing $10 on a tiny panini sandwich. Go to Bodega PDX and spend $5 more for a sandwich that’s far superior. We spent $34 on two stamp sized paninis and two coffees.
The coffee was okay, no qualms. It’s in a mason jar lol… welcome to Portland. Speaking of, why is alternative milk a $1.25 up charge? Are the oats made of gold?
The inside was cute. We enjoyed the local art.
We might be back again to try the pastries in the future. There’s a lot of potential in this cafe and a lot...
