I’m honestly a little hesitant to write a review on the best kept secret of Foster purely for gatekeeping reasons. But alas, here I am, because this place deserves all the stars. I used to be able to go here for a cheap strong drink in a small dive bar. But now my conscience won't let me. Bringing health and safety violations to their attention meant being met with banning, attitude, and dismissiveness. You can tell they have no interest in obeying the law and being good examples for the Foster Road area as it grows. The Starday Tavern! What a turn around. I'm so happy that Justin saw the potential in this little gem. It's really the perfect bar. Small stage for live music (usually pretty damn good music), outdoor seating you can drink and smoke at, TVs for sports and any other random viewing pleasure, good beer selection, CBD & Jell-o shots, really great bartenders, and of course Genghis.
