Classic Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Portland

I actually cannot believe I have not reviewed this place yet. My family and I love this place! The food is excellent and the team working there is amazing. Tinna is a wonderful person and our daughter always wants Ms Koh to take care of us. Ms Koh is wonderful and has started stopping by to feed our toddler daughter each time we come. Our daughter is perfectly capable of feeding herself, but absolutely loves Ms Koh, talks about her all the time, and always wants a few bites given by her. We try to come as often as possible. Support local and support this place!

Also, any of the reviews stating it’s too sweet don’t know how to order. If you want authentic Thai, get some spice and don’t just order pad see ew and pad Thai (though, those are my favorites if you get them 4 or 5...

I came in on a super hot day and ordered Thai tea and tofu tom kha to go and the person who took my order was so sweet! They offered me a glass of water while I waited and told me I was welcome to sit at a booth so I took my cup of ice water and sat. The atmosphere was nice and they brought my Thai tea out to me super fast so I got to enjoy it while waiting, and it was delicious! It took around 5 more minutes for them to bring me my food so I barely had to wait. Got home and the tofu tom kha was amazing! Honestly I was disappointed. Everything was cooked properly but lacking flavor. The best thing I had was the peanut sauce. I was never asked about my heat preference but even at base level it was all just super bland. The inside was clean and the flowers outside were nice but the awning was covered in webs and bugs and dirty and stopped me from wanting to sit outside on a nice day for fear of stuff falling in my food. Not a huge deal but kinda gross. Even the Plaid Pantry next door was cleaner. Staff were great and I have no issues with service. Just bland...
