I was so excited to try a new vegan café, and the reviews looked promising, but the food was a massive letdown.
We tried three different meals, the breakfast sandwich, their English breakfast and their pancakes.
The sandwich was nine dollars and incredibly underwhelming. Overpriced and too small for the pay. It looked and tasted like something right out of a frozen box.
The pancakes had great texture and were cooked well, but the batter was too salty. There was an overall bitterness to it, and it only tasted good with a heavy amount of maple syrup, which should not be the case.
The English breakfast was by far the biggest disappointment. NOTHING WAS SEASONED AT ALL. $16 for a small plate of bland emptiness.
