This place really puts other places in the neighborhood to shame. The fact that they can serve such high quality food at a reasonable price makes me want to stop going to other mexican restaurants in the neighborhood all together. I am picky about meat quality and texture, and this place used the most tender steak bits, cut to the perfect size and cooked to perfection. The birria meat was flavorful , tender, juicy. Not only that, they were not skimpy! The tortillas are medium size and they filled each tortilla up. This place deserves the HYPE. The staff were friendly, the salsas were incredibly flavorful. I think I’ll be here all the time. I am so mad at myself for not trying this place sooner! But I will 100% be making up for my lost time! HANDS DOWN BEST MEXICAN FOOD EVER! THANK YOU! I will be telling everyone about this place, just promise you’ll...
Read moreThis was so good I had to come to rate, usually I'll rate food only if it's good or bad...but today I'm here to tell you this is a authentic style food cart that delivers with very good portioned sizes and the flavor is soo good on my carnitas burrito I felt like the salsas were also not over spicy & carefully made by a Mexican scientist. I didn't even ask for salsas ans they gave me every salsa they had all were like paintings of their own. The food was amazing and I felt like I was eating art. I couldn't get enough of my burrito and pastor taco experience I savored every bite it literally felt like a movie. I advise checking this place out. I don't get that excited about many places often but these guys know how to make Mexican food. Prices aren't bad either for the quality. Uber eats ordered. Made Chipotle looked weak as heck....
Read moreI'm from Austin TX and I find most "Mexican" food in Portland to be bland. Even PorqueNo, that the locals love, I think is PorqueSoSo.
These folks have a nice little truck on Division by Stumptown and the breakfast burritos had the best flour tortilla I've found outside of Texas, and they were stuffed with ALL the right stuff. In Austin we have breakfast tacos, which I think are superior to burritos because you can get a few, but the chorizo egg potato and cheese burrito here was the closest I've found and it was DELICIOUS. The chorizo was nicely soaked up by the potato and the cheese was nice and gooey and melted. I opted out of peppers because they're bell peppers, I'd prefer poblanos, but with the peppers out it tasted incredible.
I'm going to come back for the lunch tacos as several people were raving while...
