Over the last few years, I've had the pleasure of attending Euzumeh's pop-ups and and eating her delicious dips, mezze platters and inventive takes on middle-eastern fare. Their new space, next-door to Stumptown and L’Echelle, feels like a natural evolution from the Cafe Olli pop-ups of the past. The vibe is just right for a summer-day patio hang or a romantic candle-lit dinner date night. The high-ceiling, open-beam, red-brick space has a rustic feel, and pairs so well with Chef Tamara's menu. The cherry on top is the private, enclosed patio space which is lush with greens, perfect for a warm afternoon beer or cocktail. Get the mezze plate. It's the best pickled veggies/dip/pita dish you'll find in this town. I never miss an opportunity to order the falafel and mixed greens salad. The roast chicken with farro was the perfect amount of filling. I love that I can eat everything on the menu, but not feel overly stuffed. There's not a miss in the line-up. If you're a fan of Euzumeh's dips, don't fret! There's a fridge with a healthy supply you can take home. The red pepper and feta dip is my favorite. Oh! If you haven't had the tahini chocolate chunk cookies before, buy two before you leave. You'll eat the first and be patting yourself on the back because you still have one more to savor.

Oh, Euzumeh - How Tamara will nourish your heart, your soul, your tummy! I was so very lucky to be introduced to her food years ago at a Landmass Wines pick up party. Ever since then, I find myself racing off to wherever she pops up to continue to indulge myself. Pop-up, Farmers Markets, Private Events and now a Residency! We are incredibly lucky we can have Euzumeh all summer long. Each dish introduces itself with color and flare that entices you to dive right in before your camera does. I've never really been a fan of falafel until I had Euzumeh's. The perfectly crisped and lightly salted exterior locks in a lavish green and moist flavor bomb interior. Hands down, my favorites are her famous chicken & cabbage rolls - don't even question it, just do it. She never skimps with the veggies dishes or the classic mezze platter that highlights her silky smooth dips (hummus & red feta dip) and pickled veggies, which she preps all on her own too! And lastly, you'd be a fool to leave without a tahini chocolate chunk cookie (or two). I could go on and on and on, but you could just go Now and find out for yourself. Cheers!

Absolutely fantastic. The Mezze Plate was incredible. I particularly loved the red pepper feta almond dip and pickled vegetables. I'm particular about my pickles and these were perfect - crisp with a light sweetness. The pita came out warm and fluffy with that delicious bread smell that makes your mouth water so you have to immediately tear into it and devour with hummus. If you are a potato person definitely get the roasted potatoes with yogurt sauce. Absolute dreaminess: herbiness from parsley, earthiness from za'atar, and creaminess from yogurt sauce. Need I say more? The chicken with peppy zhug was perfect on its own or with the potatoes or pita. To make it even better the leftovers were incredible the next day so pack some of it up and order dessert! The Semolina cake with raspberries was a great way to end the meal and the tahini cookie is a must. If you want an excellent meal and make everyone in the lunch room envious the next day go!

Have been here a couple of times already and it’s one of my favorite restaurants in Portland. Both times we came with large parties so we over ordered EVERYTHING on the menu. Some of my personal favorites is the mezza platter with the mhamra and pickled vegetables. Make sure to order extra bread to finish off the plate because you won’t want to leave anything behind! Speaking of the bread, the fresh baked pita is incredible! Soft, fluffy, and fresh, just like the bakeries in Jordan. The chicken is my personal favorite dish and the ones spoken most about with my friends. It’s so juicy and the whole chicken is bursting with flavor. Moist and the skin is still crispy, I’m drooling. The salmon was also standout, perfectly cooked. A friend who doesn’t like seafood ate most of it. The staff are attentive and friendly with the chef bringing food to your table and checking in on you personally. The space is really nice and inviting, and the outside is beautiful especially on a cool evening. Overall 10/10 and would...
