The food here is quite good and priced well but what really stands out are the people. They are friendly and their customer service is really on point.
I was close to have an actually bad experience here, after numerous positive experiences. I had order a salad off of their menu, one of their menu items not a build your own. Unfortunately, they were out of 2 of the 5 or so ingredients in it. By the time I was at the end of the line I was a bit disappointed that they were out of so many items. They offered to make something else but I said no. I have worked in restaurants before and get it plus I did not want my food to go to waste.
What really impressed me was that they said that my salad was on them because they were missing so many ingredients. I hadn’t even asked, they just went ahead and offered; very cool!
When I went to the counter to pay for my garlic strips I had also ordered they comped me for that too. That was unnecessary for them to do that, but they really went above and beyond. They quickly turned a potentially negative experience into an overwhelmingly...
Read moreWent there last night after our flight before we drove home(roughly 630pm). We are regulars at mods in eugene. This night crew was horrible. It was not busy at all. One crew member preferred to talk to the cooker then adding toppings to the pizza he had in front of him. Another made her own pizza in front of everyone. Then saw the line that was forming and told everyone they are closed because she didnt want to work. They all just tossed stuff around instead of properly putting stuff away. The cook just lean/ lay on the prep table instead of paying attention to the pies in the oven. One "team member" mentioned how dirty the floor was so I looked and I saw more trash and veggies on the floor then the floor itself. My wife and I almost walk away because all above and more. My wifes pizza had barely any toppings after asking the guy to add more and was told it was fine it was. And my pizzas was over half burnt.
Love mods but not that crew they are a zero star rating from this family. They need to be held on the professionalism instead...
Read moreIt was my first time trying this place. My boyfriend has had it before but I hadn't heard of it and we don't have any in San Diego as far as I know. Basically, you choose a pizza from their options but can add or subtract anything you want. You get a free coffee with the breakfast pizzas. They all come in sizes of mini, mod and large. We initially took the mini ones but soon realised these were really small, even for me (I'm a small eater). We got the Amelia (red onions, sage, sausage, cheese) breakfast pizza and the Tristan (pesto drizzle, red peppers, onions, cheese, mushroom and I asked for spicy chicken sausage).
Both were delicious. Crust is thin which is super. Nice and crisp and tasty.
The second pizza we got was a all of the above version of Tristan because we enjoyed that more. So we got garlic, artichoke and a few other things in addition to the above ingredients. Again, very tasty and filling. Didn't eat until about 6 pm after having...
