Sunny Sushi — Restaurant in Portland

Food is great but the lady working was extremely rude. I didnt understand the "buy one and get the others for $1" so I ordered 4 rolls upon the guys suggestion (I only wanted 2 rolls originally but if the others were only $1, why not? Not the case, and I didn't initially understand that so I asked him why it was $30. The lady ran from the back and said "He needs to get back to work" Understood, so I asked her why it was $30 she said: "I don't want to talk about it you can come back up when you're done eating" and then left the register. I was confused. Why would she not want to get my order right before thet made me 4 rolls that I'm not going to buy?? Ridiculous customer service from the lady. I have manners, I tipped her $4 right there just for the conversation spiking her blood pressure.

Also, not to add more to this long review, but I've never had bad sushi here before. Tonight the deepfried salmon on the rocky salmon roll was stale and gross. Luckily my nephew didn't care and ate it for me. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with the entire experience. One...

My parter and I ordered via UberEats last night. The best thing we had was the Dragon Roll. My guess is that most of these good reviews are from people who order the specialty rolls. The tuna and avocado roll wasn't good, the tuna they used was a poor cut and each piece that I tried to eat had a tough, chewy texture. Not good for sushi grade tuna. The spring rolls were soggy and we just wound up throwing those away. The ramen noodles were obviously instant noodles, which sucks when you're paying almost 16 dollars for ramen. I kept some of the tonkotsu broth overnight in the fridge to see if it would coagulate, which it didn't. That means the broth was most likely a powder broth as well. Not satisfied. Great little sushi joint! My friend has brought me here a couple times! The place is bright when you come in, open space, and very clean! I like the buy 1, get 1 deal, but you have to eat in, to get your second roll free! I like that there is only a couple booths, and a couple bar tables. Which means more opportunity for more customers. The customer service is amazing, all around.

Update (May 19th 2023): Why did you recently change your name? And you got rid of the the get your second roll free deal?! It's now not worth it to come here. The newest deals are worth it if you have the money to spend.. Guess I'll be going back to conveyor belts to...
