I visited this place with my office friend and his group. We had fun and enjoyed our food. This place provides good Mexican options - Chicken Burrito, super cheese loaded nachos, coconut base Horchata. I recommend this place for a quick Mexican affair. Food - Good Mexican food, would have loved sweet onion or similar sauce. The menu contains a variety of Mexican options. Drinks - I liked the Horchata Ambience - Seems hip. Dark ambience with loud music, hard to converse, need to repeat often. The place is small and has an intimate bar. Kid Friendly: The place has a dark ambience, a hip vibe and loud and sometimes age-inappropriate music. Still, it depends on the kid's preferences and parents' opinions. I would be fine with bringing my daughter along if she loved Mexican food. I saw a kid's high chair. Accessibility - the toilet has a step in a narrow corridor. Service: I expected a better service given the size. Adding a management person or process for order updates and follow-through would help. We have to ask again and the counter guy has to recheck the bills to confirm if we have really added two more Horchatas. Parking: No parking nearby, accept a spot within a block

Looks can be deceiving. I'm not one to give bad reviews, typically I don't do it so this is not a bad review. It's more a review of disappointment. The atmosphere is nice, there's bar seating, a couple of tables, it's cute, it's cozy. Smells really good, but that's where it ends. I spent over $30 for six tacos and when I ate it all I could taste was onion. The meat was dry and lacking flavor. Pretty disappointed in the quality and the flavor considering the way it smells is amazing. The fish tacos would have been my favorite, the breading on them was nice and crisp and crunchy, yet again no flavor. They do have multiple different hot sauces that you can choose to put on your food, but again there's no flavor in those either. So if you have your own seasonings that you can put on your food it will probably turn out better than what it does when they give it to you, again not trying to give a bad review just being honest. I truly would love to see this review and probably others be taken into consideration when preparing your tacos. You have a lot of potential just need a little bit more flavor.

Several friends have been telling me for quite some time that Robo Taco is the best joint in the Greater Portland area for tacos; and although I’ll have to pay them a few more visits before making that proclamation, my first experience was very enjoyable. The prices were very good for the quality of the food, and Robo Taco may very well be worth the hype. The three tacos I enjoyed (carnitas, carne asada, and chicken) were extremely tasty and left me wanting more. Even more impressive were the trio of scrumptious salsas. The hottest one (habanero?) is one of the best I have uncovered in the Pacific Northwest, and I am looking forward to feeling the heat once again in the near future! The location on Morrison was fairly convenient with ample parking, which rounded out a very pleasurable inaugural visit. Great job, Robo Taco! A-/A

I hate leaving poor reviews… But I need to real with you all. You might as well save your time and money for another much better establishment. I came here to grab a burrito for lunch. As soon as I walked in, the atmosphere was depressing. The inside just looks so dingy and like the owners just gave up on making the place somewhere people would want to come in and feel good hanging out at.

The food was what was most of all disappointing. I ordered the vegan burrito, and I was so confused about what I ended up with. It was supposed to have soy curls, beans, rice, salsa, & guac. I had soy curls, rice, beans, cold unmelted cheese (which I’m not even sure was vegan because it never mentioned vegan cheese on the menu. Thankfully I’m not vegan) and big chunks of cold pineapple. And so half the burrito was cold and half the tortilla was like hard and cold.

The only reason I’m leaving 2 stars is because of the amazing bartender. They not only were super cool, but they were very understanding when I brought it back and had the kitchen make a new burrito for me. I don’t usually send food back so I was thankful they were super kind. The 2nd burrito was better, but just… edible. I was hungry and so reluctantly ate most of it. It was missing any type of acidity or flavor and the burrito was very unbalanced, like one end had all soy curls and rice and beans and the other end had all guac and maybe pico? And rice. Even chipotle is better than this place.

Anyway, thanks for trying to...

Love their food, but the service is always on the fence between terrible and sub par. Some times it's worth it to have to deal with their terrible service, but when you see how expensive the food is, on top of the bad service, it makes it really hard to want to spend my money there.

I end up biting the bullet and getting food from here pretty often, but I usually try to order to go on the phone, so I don't have to stand in the drunk filled, sweaty, hot, diner as long as possible. Usually that goes somewhat okay. But I notice they will stop answering the phone completely at certain times or when busy.

Today, I was just around the corner though, at about 1pm, and needed to run some errands, so I called to place a quick order, I already know what I want, the conversation if it ever happened, would have been no more than 30 seconds long. Anyways, I call and get a brief message from a woman there, saying "gunna put ya on hold" and then that's when I Sat in my car waiting to finish my last errand, for a little over 10 minutes with no check up or anything. It was very rude and so I just left and grabbed food somewhere else.

I'd give the food a 4/5 stars and everything...
