First-time customer and Portland experience alert 🚨‼️ We had a hard time initially finding a hotel since we didn't know a safe place to stay. I am glad we picked Executive Lodge for our stay. The owner was super nice and we were able to check in early. ☀️ He was super informative and when we check out he was super kind to offer us complimentary coffee ☕️ There was free parking lot inside and was convenient that for us to bring our bags inside the room. 🅿️ The hotel is super convenient to everywhere we needed to go. The food recommendations that the owner at the hotel made was superb!! We had a burrito down the street 🌯 The AC worked was amazing especially when we came it was 34 Degrees! ☀️🌞 The Rooms could of been a bit more clean though, the AC area had a bit of crumbs or something on it. 💨 They had 2 chairs and a table if you need to connect to internet or put stuff on table. The fridge is just fridge no freezer area. Everything like the fridge and the hair dryer worked well and the water was hot when we showered. 🚿 Everything did met our expectation and more for the hotel especially at a convenient and affordable hotel. 💰 They had to essentials, shampoo/conditioner/ 2 face&body bar. I did try their body bar which was hydrating but once washed off seemed dry. After drying, my skin wasn't too bad or dry which was good 👍🏼
Definitely would recommend this place over...
Read moreThe Executive Lodge is one of the best values in all of Portland. I love it cause it's near everthing I need to get some work done, I'm a writer and I like to write at night when everybody is asleep but I need to take breaks like anybody and you know what is across the parking lot from the Executive Lodge? VooDoo Doughnuts, open 24 hours, coffee, doughnuts, and most importantly for me; Pinball (Deadpool). If I could I would live at VooDoo Doughnuts, not the downtown location but the one that is across the street from the Executive Lodge the best old school motel in all of Portland Oregon. I have stayed at the Jupiter down the street but not anymore if I'm in Portland I'm staying at the Executive Lodge, everything you need and nothing you don't, it even has a bus stop right outside the office front door you can get the 20 bus and be in downtown in minutes or just walk down the street, just blocks away is my favorite two places in Portland to hangout The Dougfir Restaurant, Bar, and Live Music Venue (great smoking poarch and fire pit) and Canard (restaurant of the year 2018) open M-F 8am-Midnight, S-S 9am-Midnight best food in town. When I'm in Portland I live at the Exective Lodge and I hangout at Voodoo, Dougfir, and Canard what more do you need to know I love the place and all the other local business in and around NE 14 and Sandy it's home just like...
Read moreWe arrived pretty late in the day but there weren't any issues. The staff that checked us in was kind and he got us set up right away. At first, I was slightly surprised at how small the room was but that's only because I didn't read what the square footage was and I also didn't care at the time because I was looking (very last minute) for a place that was affordable but also not grimy and filled with bad reviews. I also was comparing the size to other places we've stayed at but it was just my husband and I so that didn't bother me the rest of our stay. (Had I booked ahead of time, we would have gotten a more spacious room) The room and bathroom itself were all very clean with no stains or markings. There weren't any lingering smells, the ac/heater worked efficiently as did the TV and mini fridge. The decor, furniture, appliances were all modern, nothing looked like it was from before the 2000s. The location was perfect because we were right in the middle of all the places we visited as well as in walking distance of places to eat and downtown. I gave five stars because we honestly enjoyed our stay for it being a very last minute booking. I'd definitely seek this lodge out again...
