I have purchased a "share" of salmon from Kenai the past several years. The salmon has been delicious, fresh tasting, and lovely to have on-hand. I buy enough to last me and my husband 6+ months, storing it in the freezer, and enjoy salmon from Kenai on a regular basis throughout the fall, winter and spring. I also love supporting this family-run business and set up a program at my workplace where employees can order salmon shares every Fall and Kenai brings the order to the worksite to pick up. We were drawn to Kenai Red by their sustainable fishing practice, and now have been buying fish from them for several years. We have literally never had a bad package - every package has been fresh; no fishy odor, just great flavor. We can just go to the freezer; we never have to shop for salmon only to wonder whether it's fresh.
