One star for decent pizza but read on... Restaurant on Lombard needs a deep cleaning. Table was sticky and obviously had not been really cleaned for a long while. So much grease that someone had scratched their name in the dirt. The napkin holder was so dirty I would not want to touch it. Staff obviously did not wash hands before making salad as the box was covered with greasy fingerprints, the salad au nature, and Greek and not the Garden salad I ordered. Pizza was OK but built from the center out and not from the edge toward the center resulting in two or three inches without toppings. That is buying a 14" pizza for the price of an 18". The delivery van was parked in the handicapped parking space. There was one empty in front so I had a parking place without walking too far.

My workplace often orders Sparky's for lunches, and I can understand why because the pizza here tastes awesome! However, it's a great place to visit even if you're all alone, as they sell affordable pizza by the slice along with some cheap breadsticks. I got a large slice of cheese pizza with a breadstick for only $5, and all of it was super tasty! Definitely coming back here. The only problem I have with this place is the difficult parking that makes me anxious when I visit, but it's well worth it!

Cute little pizza place. You can order full pizzas or buy by the slice. If you buy by the slice, they heat it up right there for you, so it's nice and crispy. It took like 5 minutes only to get my food. For a slice of pepperoni, a giant garlic bread, and a can of soda, it was only $8, definitely a really good value. The pizza itself was very good. Nice crust and a good topping ratio. I didn't try one, but they have salads also. I will definitely be back next time I need lunch in the area!

3/16/2019 - Ordered a pizza, and a bread stick over the phone at 6:15pm. The guy told me that it would be ready in 25 minutes. I show up promptly, 25 minutes later, and there were seven people waiting.

I made it up to the counter, told them my name, and was told it would be done in a few minutes, because they got slammed. I was fine with that. I sat and patiently waited. While waiting, someone returned their pizza because it was burnt, and they said that they'd make a new one.

Then a caviar driver that had been waiting when I walked in, inquired as to when her order would be ready and they told her ten minutes. 30 minutes later her order was still not ready, after asking multiple times, after ten minute increments.

Calls randomly came in for orders, and yet the staff kept quoting people 20 to 25 minutes, when in reality, it would be way longer than that. Other people asked how long it actually took to cook the pizza, and were told five to ten minutes.

I observed multiple people walk out the door, only three names called out, with no one to claim them, and four pizzas waiting for homes on top of the ovens.

After waiting inside of the restaurant for an hour, I watched my charred bread stick and pizza come out of the oven, only to find itself in the garbage, with two other pizzas that were burnt as well. At this point, I stood up and walked out the door.

I only observed one pizza go out the door with someone who had been waiting. The guy that returned his pizza, directly ahead of me, was able to get his new pizza, and leave as well. There was also a couple in there, that finally got their pizzas, yet were fairly upset and got a refund, as well a the owner's phone number. The caviar driver was still waiting...

The staff there were highly unorganized. They didn't know which pizza went to whom. They wandered aimlessly around the kitchen at times, clearly overwhelmed. One guy looked as if he was having a panic attack, and walked out the back door for a while.

If you're slammed and disorganized, you should probably warm your customers that the wait time will be longer than expected, rather than blatantly lie to them. My "few" minutes turned into over 60.

I would've given them a second chance, had all of the employees not lied to their customers. I was patiently waiting, while others had become clearly agitated, and vocalized their concerns. Choose your own adventure, but for me, this...

I'm new to the area so I was trying different places to find my spot. The very first time I ordered from this place the pizza was amazing. Pizza was hot, I asked for extra cheese and it was cheesy. Breadsticks were great. They even supplied parmesan and pepper flakes. I thought this was the place.

The second time, I ordered the exact same thing. Half the pizza had cheese and the other half had a sprinkle. Must've been a bad night. I get it happens sometimes.

Keep in mind, I order the exact same thing every time: pepperoni, extra cheese, 2ltr soda.

The third time I ordered, pizza was soggy and extremely greasy. No parm or pepper packets.

Last night was the LAST time I will order from here.

My pizza was very overcooked and BURNT. Literally. There wasn't any extra cheese. The slices were extremely uneven. A new York slice here, a regular slice there and then a bunch of extremely skinny slices. When biting into the pizza it sounded like I was eating potato chips. The crust was extremely tough and I literally had to bite and try and rip away at it with my teeth.

The only thing good lastnight was the soda. I was very disappointed. Especially to think that I could've ordered dominoes, gotten more pizza and not have waited as long. I ordered through grubhub and I could see on the app that the driver waited 10mins them to finish burning the pizza. Which also set back my delivery time by 10-15 mins.

This place has been very inconsistent and can't deliver quality if their life depended on it.

I'll be searching for a better place give...
