Excellent food and selection, especially loved the surf and turf. Steak was cooked to perfection with the exact ratio of brown to pink and the lobster tasted fresh enough to have just been walked in directly from the gulf. It was an excellent meal with served at a nice pace. The wait for the food was just right and it was fairly busy. By the time we had finished our salads the main dishes were brought to the table just at the right time. The service staff was extremely friendly and expedient with their service. Wish I could have remembered the servers name so I could give her credit but she had a few tables to wait on besides ours and we never felt as though we were waiting on her to get done with her other tables or like she had any other tables for that matter. I drink my pre-dinner beers quickly and keep the servers on their toes normally, most of the time I am left sitting and waiting for my next bottle but she did and excellent job of having them there before I ran out which is a great feat on her part. She had to have been one of the best servers we have had in a long time.

All in all very pleased with the service and prices were reasonable, environment was relaxing and themed well for the food and atmosphere of the establishment. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend for any one new to the area or just visiting on vacation as well as long term residents like myself. I just recently moved back down here after being stuck up north for ten years and it was difficult choosing a local place with fresh seafood as there wasn't many reviews on quit a few of these places so I figured id add one that I thought would have helped me in deciding when I was looking for a place for us. If you’re staying at the hotel behind this restaurant don’t go here out of convenience. Trust the other reviews stating over priced mediocre food. We decided to go ahead and try it and it has been a regretful experience. We ordered food to go on their website. We got a call stating they didn’t have onion rings and didn’t offer anything else. Not even when I asked if there was something else we could get instead. They said there was nothing else at the same price point. Then when we get a text message stating the order is ready, once we arrive they say they do not have the chicken fried steak we ordered either. Once again no offer of replacing with something else. My husband had to ask if there was another plate he could get instead since they didn’t have the chicken fried steak and they reluctantly agreed to that and to also replace the onion rings with the queso again only after my husband asked for this. I’ve worked in food service and it’s just so surprising they were just wanting to void and not try to replace the items that they didn’t have with something else on their menu. We ordered the Avocado chicken salad one of the most underwhelming salads I’ve had. We ordered some of the appetizers including the quesadilla, the combo and the chips and queso they reluctantly sold us. The quesadilla for some reason was filled with onions. My mistake if I missed that on the menu. The combo was good and the chips with queso were good as well. My husbands steak dinner was not the best. The steak was tough. Maybe the restaurant feels like they don’t have to try hard to give good customer service. Possibly because they get their fair share of tourist customers so they probably won’t be back anyway. Our waitress Alexis was attentive and provided great service. The food was great aside from the wait but it was expected for a Friday night. The bad service was actually after we paid that a waitress/hostess approached our table to tell us that our table had a two hour limit and that our table was also already reserved for someone else and that we would unfortunately have to leave. We were in mid conversation while she approached and mind you, we literally stopped because we could not believe what was just told to us. They literally timed us from the time we were seated (5:58-7:58) to the time it took to wait for the food, eat and then pay. We asked to speak the the manager (Aaron) and he apologized on her behalf and said that it was their old protocol and that he would talk to her. We decided to stay for a while longer while we wrapped up our conversation with our family and then the waitress that was "talked to" was laughing in the back. While we were walking out, my partner approached her to tell her she could have her table now since she was in the kitchen laughing about the situation and while we were walking out the manager followed us to the parking lot just to say we were insulting his waitress and when I asked the name of the owner when I could email the email listed on the receipt to leave a review, he stated "your email is just going to come right back to me anyways and I'm the manager there's no one else"

My family will not be returning to this restaurant for the disrespect. We tipped well to our waitress because she provided excellent service but this restaurant only cares about the money they can receive and once they receive your payment, you're just another check to them even though they claim to be a "family...
