Thai Sky is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. We ordered online and did pickup - the food was ready at the stated time, and packed so that it was still fresh-out-of-the-wok hot when it made it home. Portions were quite large, so our order turned out to be meals for two spread over multiple days. Everything reheated beautifully. My only heads-up for visitors is to point out that Thai Sky shares a smallish parking lot with Pizzicato next door, and the layout is a one way U shaped lot with narrow parking spaces, so if you have a choice of vehicles, lean towards the smaller one. The dining area is very nice - I'm looking forward to a time when eating indoors becomes possible again. In the meantime, this is a terrific spot for take out.

A really lovely little place. They are always friendly and the decor is welcoming. Tonight I was disappointed because I ordered a Tom Yum soup with coconut, noodles and shrimp. Unfortunately I received chicken instead. And I am one of the few people in America that is a meat eater and doesn’t really care for chicken. And there wasn’t much coconut milk either. I pulled all the chicken out and gave it to my wife. She got chili basil with chicken and liked it. She gave it a 4.2 out of 5. I think the food wasn’t quite as good as it has been but it’s still worth eating here - especially for their lunch plates. The tofu salad rolls were fat and delicious. Very good peanut sauce. Maybe the best I’ve had in town!

First time there. I picked up Laab Gai and Som Tum and asked for it "X Hot." I used to live in Thailand and am picky about Thai food. I found the laab good but not great. Too sweet for my taste and not at all spicy. Still, it was tasty and I enjoyed it. The Som Tum was quite yummy and reasonably spicy. Fresh, crispy and tasty. Good serving sizes and nice presentation. Wish they would go a little less sweet and with more fish sauce (and dried shrimp for the som tum!), but would certainly go back again. Recommended: some of the better Thai food I've had in Portland.

I've been eating Nu & Jenny's food since 2003 when they opened their cart downtown and am so happy that they've made the jump to this perfect space just a few blocks from Mt. Tabor Park. Their flavors are a huge cut above the typical thai food you will find around town. Everything has balance and is never too sweet or heavy. Very bright flavors that pop and make you want more. Today we had a Panang curry with shrimp & Larb salad. Both were stellar. The Larb salad was perfectly tangy, slightly sweet & savory with just enogh heat (I ordered medium.) Kafir lime leaves, delicately sliced onion, perfectly cooked ground chicken..the juice alone from this dish is to die for! The sticky rice was perfect and soaked up those juices. The Panang curry was wonderfully balanced and delicious. The shrimp, green beans, peppers and squash were perfectly prepared. Everything, including squash which I normally don't really enjoy, was cooked to that point of still having a slight bit of firmness. Nothing over-cooked or slimy. Just perfection. Considering their flawless flavors, clean & elegant new space and very reasonable prices, there's nowhere else I'd rather go...

Horrible experience. The female asked if I wanted my Pad Thai mild, medium, hot, or very hot. I said Medium. It came to me extremely spicy. I could not even eat it and I tried. After sitting there sweating for a bit the young male waiter comes to the table and asks how the food is. I said it’s too spicy. And that I couldn’t eat it. He says “Oh Sorry” and walks away. Didn’t even care! Didn’t offer to replace it for ‘mild’ or no sauce. Nothing. Just walks away like nothing. I still had to pay for it no discount. I left a full plate of pad Thai on the table for the garbage. That’s not a good way to run a business. Because of the food and interaction with the uncaring staff I will not return. And that was my third visit...
