We got the Ube Milk Tea and Mango Purple Rice Yogurt drinks at 25% sweet and it was really good! This place is more of a dessert type drink so if you’re sensitive to sweet, then I’d recommended to keep it at 25% sweet. 0% ice is an extra $0.50 add-on, not an issue for me since I’m happy to pay more to get more drink, but just wanted to give a heads up.

The staff were very nice and professional, and they were so quick with our order!

The store was pretty spacious and would be good for group hangouts! I think if it got extremely busy, it would be hard to line up and get into the store, so maybe it might be too chaotic if it was super busy.

Parking was really easy! It’s in an outlet, and it seems the other stores don’t get too much traffic, so there was a lot of free spaces next to The Alley. It would be perfect if TESO Life opened here!

Overall, we really enjoyed our boba, and we’re excited The Alley is in Portland!!! Highly recommend this place if you like dessert...

I’m so excited to have another boba place in Portland! I enjoyed my drink and will definitely be coming back. I got the ube brown sugar crème brûlée which was yummy, but boy was it sweet. I usually get 100% sweet on my drinks but I’d have to go down to 75% max for next time. Too sweet even for me.

A friend got the Jasmine milk tea with pearls and pudding and also enjoyed her drink!

Unfortunately not impressed by the royal #9 drink.. it tasted like artificial blueberry in a bad way.

Inside is very modern, clean, and the line/wait was not too bad! I can imagine myself bringing a laptop to work. There’s also one large table that seats 8. Otherwise, seating volume is comparable to most boba places. It feels more roomy and not squished though, which I like.

I also like that there is only one size for drinks.. so I don’t feel like I’m paying an extra $2 for my drink. But, may not be your favorite if you usually get the smaller size. Wait time isn’t too...
